Xbox Marketplace Points ??

Hey guys, do you know of any deals or giveaways for Xbox Live Marketplace Points? I am interested in getting the Halo Legendary map pack and want to see if there are some sweepstakes again anywhere.

Thanks

Just circuit city. 30% off. Only get the blister packs though. Don't get the loose cards that they swipe to activate because they won't work.

I actually just found a 100 points code from the dream car challenge but I can't redeem it, if anyone has a 50 points code from that sweepstakes I would trade you the 100 for it if you have not redeemed one for 100 from that giveaway.

I would trade a 2 month trial code for it, if that has any value to you
can anyone clarify on how the blister pack looks like? does anyone have a picture of it? i've never seen a microsoft points card with packaging. i don't want to go to circuit city, buy the card, and not be able to return it cause it doesn't work, lol. thanks.

EDIT: i found some pictures on ebay, so is it this kind?: http://i24.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/a3/e9/fdd4_1.JPG
yes, these are the good ones. The bad ones are just like the gift cards you might see at a grocery store (card on a paperboard hanger) with no packaging

someone want to back me up on this, just to be sure?

I think its like a gift card, since they swipe them. If you did buy them, they wouldn't be discounted. The blister pack is pre-prepaid. The cards are just plastic.

Am I right?
Just out of curiousity why do the non-blister pack variety show up as invalid if you buy it from CC?
I cannot find the post, but in another thread, someone explained that Circuit City allowed their license to issue those cards to lapse. That means they can't authorize the value on new cards. They can sell the pre-authorized cards in the blister packs, but they can't authorize the other cards.

Edit: The post here:

circuit city has them as other have mentioned for 13.99 for 1600 and 34.99 for 4000. Thats a pretty decent deal as its hard to find points cheap. Also you could go through gaminglagoon.com please refer Enternal if you do.

It takes about an hour to get 1600 points with their signup - points system. You can get it without needing a CC, and they email you the codes. Tedious, but if you are around a computer like at work with nothing to do, can definitely be worth it.
lol ive never seen a 2 month trial. maybe it's 2 1 month trials?
Usually when people say "2-month" trials they're refering to the old 2 month trials you get with some new games, back when the 360 just came out. New users/signupers were only able to use the two monthers and they cant be used to extend an old account. Or at least that's what I think they mean when that phrase comes up.
