Xbox Music Mixer, $0.99 at Wherehouse.com (used) [OOS]

FYI

I just bought this earlier this week at Best Buy an it included the Microphone. $14.99 after GGC

Awesome game & the microphone is SUPER high quality.

I bought this used at Ebgames awhile back & still feel funny about how much of the previous owner's spit is caked in the microphone.

This is kind of like buying a used dildo. :)

Well, because the spit that may be on the microphone, and the stuff that may be on a porno mag...

I bought two for less than 7.99 shipped each and its selling for 20+ shipping on ebay lol

i found no use for it so i would advise you to get rid of it while ebay ppl are paying high!

besides... Karaoke Revolution is IMO the best karaoke game, its actually a game haha

I think you may be using the microphone incorrectly. ;)

All depends on the orifice being used with the mic.

The package, even if it came with the mic, is a worthless piece of trash. Unless you enjoy giving Microsoft your money, $2 a pop for songs with words, or you memorize the words to your personal songs and don't mind them sounding crappy when the vocals are stripped from them, then go for.

I bought this and sold it right back onto to Ebay - this is nothing more than Microsoft ripping the world off.

XBOX Music Mixer is trash. If you are intent on getting it and are worried about the lack of a microphone, you can sue the XBOX communicator headset but the sound quality gets even worse.

If you are ripping CD tracks onto the XBOX hard drive, can you use this to get track info? Because that would actually be useful. I love using custom soundtracks and it is a pain in the ass typing the titles in with the d-pad.

Yes, but ONLY if the CD was released before about 2 years ago, when this software was released. Anything newer will not be recognized and it doesn't go to the Internet to retrieve this informaiton, it's stored on the disc.

I have to heavily recommend against buying this software unless you are simply using it for track listings for 2+ year old CDs, though. The karaoke is terrible and the PC->Xbox transfer simply doesn't work for the majority of people.

I spent $50 on this trash mainly for the transfer capability and it gave me more headaches than any other program I've ever used, and I know what I'm doing.

Wow, I had plans to use it for getting track info for my CDs, but, alas, my order was cancelled by Wherehouse themselves.

Got my copy delivered today. I was am kind of dissapointed with Wherehouse on this purcahse since it was my 1st time buying a used game from them and I expected better quality.

No microphone was included (although I really didn't care), and the game did not have an instruction manual. The disc also had a few scratches. When Wherehouse takes games in for trade, they reqiure for the game to be complete and for there to be no visible scratches so I was expecting a mint game. And they also put a sticker over the UPC code on the case which left some residue.

I know it was only $0.99 but if this is how their used games are, I don't know I will be so quick to buy something used from them again.

I've never had a problem using the transfer or known anyone who has. It takes forever, though.
