So I just got back from BB. I had gotten in on that crazy deal a couple of weeks ago for the Xbox One + Laptop + $50 GC

So I went to BB to grab a controller with the GC. So I decided to see if I could find a better deal for them to pricematch (maybe save a few $)

So I found this on my phone (still a pretty good deal, even when just the controller are usually $60)

While I was looking at the controllers I found this on the shelf. It came in a green box...almost just like the standard controller. So I thought they were the same, so I showed the lady a Customer service (picking up some halo games too) the Walmart.com product. She barely looked at just price matched it (Didn't even need an override, so I'm assuming she was a supervisor of some kind). I didn't realize it wasn't the same thing until I got home and looked it up. Basically its missing the rechargeable battery I think...Thought I would share this as my yearly topic post

What you linked to on Walmart's site is the PC-branded version of the controller. No real difference, but it does include the cable. From what I can tell, that's the old discontinued model that doesn't include the 3.5mm jack, hence the lower price.

What you grabbed at the store was the version with the Play & Charge kit included (meaning the battery is included as well), and I'm assuming it's the newer model with a 3.5mm jack. You basically scammed Walmart, so yeah, that's incredibly YMMV.
