From what I've heard it's good, but not great.

...coming from someone who hasn't played it. Just because the developer says it's the best RPG of all time doesn't mean it is. From what I hear, it's got Molyneux syndrome: promised to be amazing, but ends up being just good.
 
Maybe it's a best RPG for the XBox, I'm sure. Like Xbox have to many RPGs to begin with?! Best one from two or three to choose from.
