Hey, I finally made the step into HD, by getting that 42 inch samsung dlp from circuit city on black friday for $799. I was wondering what component cables you would recommend, ( best value for best price) I was thinking of ordering this mad catz one http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=801798 IF anyone had any idea about it or a better/similar one that would be appreciated.

I have that exact one that I was using for my Xbox, but I recently got an official Xbox one. I didn't have any problems with it. I could sell it $8 shipped if interested.

I also have new PS2 component cables. Generic brand, but really good quailty. I bought them from LikSang and I use them on my own PS2 and it looks great. I could sell you a new one for $10 shipped if you want. Or like $15 shipped for em both if at all interested.

If you prefer buying from a store, then yeah those universal ones with the greyish cables are nice quality.
 
My local Gamestop has Mad Catz ones like that that also have a 360 connector. If you don't already have 360 component cables you may want to check for that.
 
So the concensus is that the Mad Catz universal cable is ok? I'll probably pick one of those up tomorrow... since my 52" Panny HDTV will be arriving then :)
