xbox repair...and question

my xbox broke, redlights the whole deal... i sent it in for repair and just got an email saying that they've sent me another one... the serial they gave me is for a new console, is there anyway with the serial i can tell if this will be a new premium with HDMI???
 
I sent my premium in about 4 weeks ago due to the ethernet port going out. I got a new one back last Friday and it had a July 27th 2007 manufacture date without the HDMI, but it did have the new heatsinks. You could make them out with by taking digital photos through the holes on the right side. Only issue I have now is the faceplate on the new system is semi-broken, but I'm just happy to have a system back so I can finally play Bomberman again. They also fedex overnighted me a free 1 month live gold card which I recieved yesterday. Apparently there was supposed to be 1 in the box with the system.

:UPDATE: As of 8/18/07 this one got the red rings.... I had it 1 fucking week. Now awaiting a coffin.
 
yeah i knew about the one month, its because you missed out on your month of live service if you subscribe to it, and if you dont, they want you to haha.

all 360's going in for repair are getting new heatsinks.
 
unfortunetly the hdmi is only coming on retail consoles, replacements will still have the exact same architecture as before except for added the new heatsinks.
