Okay, I lost the site that has info on the xbox for retailers. The one where you can get a free game if you pay like $9 shipping. I can't find the binder at work and I have not seen the xbox sales rep lately. I know this all sounds fishy but I do work at a Meijer in Kalamazoo, Michigan and I do sell Xbox systems and games. If someone could just pm me the link. You can search my past threads and see I am an employee of meijers. I can also send a pic of me with my red shirt and meijer name tag even though that is extremely lame. I had no real use for the site before and I just bought a green (halo) xbox from another guy at work because he is a lamer and "has no time for games." All I have is PGR2 and Halo but no extra funds. Please help me. Thank you.

Also, any deals on Live starter kits or should I just buy one at Meijer since I get 10% off?

Damn I hate Microsoft....
" The Xbox Retail Team site is best viewed with Internet Explorer. Some features of the site are not available on other browsers, so to get the best experience from the site, please use Internet Explorer."

Well, if you don't use IE, it is a big problem. Microsoft could easily standardize their site and make it viewable with other browsers ( Firefox, Opera, Safari) but they don't. This makes it less appealing for users to go to it. I know I wouldn't want to cut my userbase down by using IE-specific code.

I mean, you don't need to have a Sony DVD player to watch a Sony Pictures DVD. You know what I mean?

IE accounts for 75% (at the very least) of all Internet Browsers out there. Why SHOULD they take the time to make it compatable with competitors browsers when they dominate with IE? Its pointless.

That's like saying every program that comes out for Windows should also be compatable with Linux.

it is more like 90 %

though the number has been dropping. It was 95 % in the middle of last year.

and like you said, it is their website, and they make IE, so why wouldn't they want you to use IE?

You made a whole for this?? Ever hear of google? IT would taken a faction of the time it took you to do this and a simple search with the words xbox retail site is all it takes. I don't mean any offense but this was kind of uselessly time consuming.

I actually googled and used yahoo and got nothing. Thanks for your useless input though.

No need for a less than witty comeback. Even just "xbox retail" gets you the same first result. If I recall the last topic asking for the signup info was locked because people abuse the hell out of the site and now you're opening it up for the same thing. You also could've just searched for the CAG topic titles and got the info that way. All I'm saying is use a search engine correctly and you could've got it done with half the time and effort without creating a new thread for a simple repost.

Why are you here starting shit? I said nothing rude to you and you are acting like a little bitch. Not witty? Sorry, but I'm not here for your amusement, jackass. I'm so sick of people here being stuck up asshats. I never post and when I do then I get people like you being jerks. This topic was just fine and dandy before you posted. We had a little debate going over the retail site using IE only and you had to come and ruin it. You aren't required to post in every thread. If you don't like the topic, go somewhere else.

If they want to force us to use thier shitty web browser then they could atleast have the courtesy to remove all the vulnerabilites and exloits in it. Another thing I really hate them for is making you need IE for windows update. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't even have IE on my PCs. I thought MS was ordered to not make IE such an integrated part of Windows.

And Microsoft doesnt have to do the retail site either. They could drop it and then you would have to bitch about that too.

Maybe instead of worrying about the amount of time it takes for someone else to create a thread, you should use that time to learn English. "You made a whole for this??" WTF mate?

Sorry if I came as a dick, I don't pop in to crap on every thread and to be honest I could've been much more of an asshole and much more stuck up about it. I'll just use this time to go through all of roland's 312 posts and point out all his typos to him because apparently he never makes any (sorry I don't proofread all my CAG posts there buddy). Nevermind though, if I'm an asshole, so be it.

Keep calling me a bitch, dick, jackass, or whatever else you feel like and then we can go back to having needless reposts discussing the same things that have been talked about before. Sorry for being a jackass....
