[CUSTOMSPOILER="General Info"]
Q. What is MyPunchcard?
A. MyPunchcard is a part of the Xbox LIVE Rewards program open to all members. Through MyPunchcard, Xbox LIVE Rewards members can get rewarded for performing a specific set of actions outlined in the Punchcard for each offer. Once all punches are earned on a specific Punchcard, get rewarded!

Q. Who is eligible for MyPunchcard?
A. All Xbox LIVE Rewards members are eligible to participate in MyPunchcard. To start earning punches for completing specific actions, join Xbox LIVE Rewards now for free if you haven’t already: http://rewards.xbox.com.

Q. How does MyPunchcard work?
A. Each Punchcard has a set amount of punches required in order to complete it. Once a specific action is completed and a punch is earned, it can take up to 96 hours for it to appear on the MyPunchcard page. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive a Reward once all punches have been earned and the entire Punchcard is complete. There is a limit of one Reward per one completed Punchcard, unless otherwise noted.

Q. Where can I find the available Punchcards?
A. To check out the available Punchcards, log into the Xbox LIVE Rewards site and visit the MyPunchcard page. The amount of available Punchcards each month will vary.

Q. Do Punchcards expire?
A. Yes. Once a Punchcard expires, no further punches will be provided for actions completed after that date. Expiration dates for each Punchcard vary and are listed on the MyPunchcard page found here.

Q. I completed a Punchcard! How do I claim my Reward?
A. If the Reward is Microsoft Points, they will appear under Pending on your MyRewards page by the 15th of the following month. If the Reward is anything other than Microsoft Points, an email will be sent to your contact email listed here with instructions to redeem your Reward. The Rewards for completion of a Punchcard will vary with each Punchcard offer. Rewards will not be provided during the Punchcard offer period.

April's PlaytoEarn Punchcard
Check your status - May take 3-5 days to update
XBLA DLC purchases do not count toward the April Punchcard - source

Cornelius's list of sources for last-minute XBLA purchase ideas:
  • The Wikipedia page for XBLA releases, sorted by MSP.
  • Xbox.com's sorted list of best-selling XBLA titles.
  • Major Nelson's most-recent list of top 20 XBLA games purchased.
  • The Twisted Pixel bundle ... seriously, it's 3600 MSP worth of games for 800 MSP!
  • The DOTW for April 30th, listed on our OP, as well as Major Nelson's blog, which will go live around 4/30 @ 2am PDT, and be valid for 14-15 hours up through the promo's deadline between 4pm-5pm'ish PDT (depending how they've configured the reporting servers to account for GMT).
Note I was going to also suggest the "Angry Birds Trilogy" sale starting 4/30, but since it's a GoD title, it doesn't count.
  • Games your friends have picked up. Use the "Compare Games" feature on their profile, which will list their games in order of most-recently played by default.
  • Atari-published games, which you should assume will get de-published as soon as its game licenses/IP are sold off in bankruptcy court.
  • Games NOT found on compilation discs, because you can often find them "cheap" on eBay or used-game retailers. See this XBLA thread post (under "XBLA Discs") for more info & lists.
  • And finally, TylerH1701's list of XBLA games yet to go on sale
Hope this helps anyone's last-minute purchase dilemma. ;)

FAQ:
_________________________________________________

Q: So what is this and how much does it cost?
A: Xbox Rewards is a free loyalty program run by ePrize for the Microsoft Corporation. They offer free and Gold Xbox Live members "rewards" for completing survey, making qualified purchases, or other actions during a specified period.

Q: Where do I start?
A: You should start by reviewing the official FAQ. Once you are done there, and you have decided to join, you are ready to start earning rewards.

Q: I never got my reward for my first purchase after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ. You will only earn that reward for your first purchase from the marketplace ever. If you made a purchase before joining the program, you are out of luck.

Q: I never got my reward for activating Netflix after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ and some discussion with @XboxSupport You will only earn that reward for the first time you ever activate Netflix on your specific gamertag. If you did that before joining the program, you are out of luck. If you are still good, you have to have had Netflix activated for 1 month and have watched 2+ hours of streaming content during that time period.

Q: When will this end?
A: According to the official T&C, the program is scheduled to end at 3:59 p.m. GMT on June 30, 2012. It is possible that the program will be renewed or go after that, but there hasn't been more info on that yet.

Q: Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A: Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.

Q: How do I use my expiring Microsoft Points first?
A: Promotional points with expiration dates are automatically redeemed first before purchased points. [source]
So to confirm, I just have to redeem 2 1600 point cards? Awesome. I was going to buy the Gears 3 season pass anyway.
You have to buy/redeem any combination of 2800+ points (you could buy 1600. 800 and 400 on Xbox Live for example). Promotional points (such as points you won in a contest, or points from Bing Rewards) don't count towards the 2800 however.

Okay. Don't have credit card hooked up to my account, so eith 2 1600 or 1 4000 card for me. Doesn't much matter I guess. I'll see.
Does anyone know if the "Purchase or redeem 2800 Points or more and get 140 back" promotion would give you 280 back if you redeem 5600 points?
I'm pretty sure it answers itself.

If I didn't click the link on the rewards site to take me to xbox.com to redeem my 4000 pt card will I still get the 140 points?

Your rewards account is linked to your gamer tag so it should pick it up automatically. I renewed my 12 month live card on xbox.com in September and the 200 points showed up as pending this month.

I'm probably reading way too much into this page (or rather looking in this instance), but... that twitter shirt is pretty cool. It would be awesome if it's a secret reward they're going to hand out to everyone that enters.

Hey, they did gave us banshee props a while back...

Here is a question, has anyone been getting credit for "Renewed 1 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership" every month even though they have a 1 year gold membership that doesn't expire until April? I've got 10 points extra per month from June, July, August, September, and now October and I haven't had a credit card that's being charged for 1 month memberships during that time... Or should I just keep my mouth shut and enjoy the free points? :)

Sounds like you lucked out.

Mine expires in June 2012, I'm pretty sure. I ended up emailing them a month after I got the card in Christmas of 2010 since the points never registered. They told me they wouldn't until the original expired. FF, they ended up registering before that (March or April, I believe.) Ended up adding another month when bing rewards had the 1 month codes for 500 points. So not expecting that for a while which isn't a big deal as I'm down to 20 points again on XBox Rewards.

Do you only get the points for renewing a year of gold if you were already gold when you used a card? I used a 1 year card last month and it didn't show up.

Sorry, but silver members can only earn credit for redeeming their very first XBL Gold membership card. Else, you'd have to currently be gold to get credit for renewing a 1-year card. Btw, you can always refer to the chart found here: http://rewards.xbox.com/rewards-grid/

i just redeemed 370 rewards points last week, i didn't do anything special besides fill out the survey once per month (20 points each).

Yeah, I've not really done much outside of the surverys, and I'm sitting at around 500 total MSPs. Not too bad for stuff that takes no time or you were going to do anyway.
Has anyone else had there redeem or purchase 2800 and get back 140 points not show up on their Xbox Rewards page? :(
Still waiting on mine.

I just logged into rewards this morning and it says "Call of Duty MW3 VIP Exclusives. VIP members get exclusive extras. Get them now!" but when I click on it the page says the offer expired. Did I miss something?

Same thing happened to me, what the fuck is that for? Only a few hours?

The survey link says I've already filled it out. Since it's now November and I haven't filled out a survey in weeks, I'm thinking the rewards site update is running behind.

The VIP link is probably saying that the previois VIP offer has expired. The Call of Duty MW3 VIP Exclusives will probably become available once the rewards site updates.

Yeah, I was wondering if that might be the case but I thought I'd post on here just to see if there was something I missed.

Really wondering if I'll get the "points back for redeeming points" thing. I added 6240 Microsoft points in October, but they were all free 480 point codes I got from trying out Kinect games at the Mall of America demo thing. Be silly/ridiculous/awesome to get more free points from that. haha.

Also, I just added up all those points for the first time... wow I really went crazy in October. Thanks to that demo station I racked up $78 in points. Nice.

I did the same thing but redeemed up to 3680. I would have redeemed my 4000 point card, but I wanted to save it if they ever did this again. I think we should get the points back (yes, I know its ridiculous), but I could not find anything saying that codes from events/contests didn't count towards the 2800.

New survey is up. Are you a Gold Member, what do you like best about the program, will you renew, few other questions. After taking the survey, I went to the link again and it said I took it, so hopefully whatever problems they've had the last couple months with surveys registering have been resolved. Though we'll know for sure if/when the pending points post to the account.

The COD VIP offer isn't showing on the main page. Anyone save the direct URL?

yeah it's the turn of the month so im going to say the rewards vip offer hasnt changed to the nov one yet. when i went to take the survey it said I had already taken it which I haven't for nov yet.
This month's deal is pretty good for people who got a crap load of the GS MW3 1 month codes.
I just asked xbox support and if you have gold over the month of november then you can't get the bonus. For example my gold expires June next year so I can't get the extra MSP for the November special

It said they scanned our call of duty achievements? Did you play every call of duty and earn majority o the achievements?

I have most of the Modern Warfare achievements, between 1/3 and 1/2 of 2, MW2, and World at War. Maybe it's because I haven't played Black Ops? Hopefully that's all it is. I wouldn't be spending the points to qualify for this offer anyway, but I want to be able to believe I'll be VIP eligible in the future.

Could also be that I've never bought CoD DLC.

I wonder if buying CoD Elite from the Marketplace counts as "merchandise"? Not that I care about avatar crap, but still free is free.

I got 1000 on every Call of Duty except 3 and bought no DLC.

I just noticed this as well.

However, I was just given 200MSP for "Renewed 12 Month Xbox LIVE Gold Membership" even though it was simply a prepaid card that I stacked months ago that just kicked in. I thought prepaid cards didn't apply to the membership offers. :whistle2:#

I've had that before as well. You get the points for it as soon as your next subscription kicks in.

Strange about the VIP exclusives. I have tons of COD achievements and even got the VIP track suit thing way back when. My gold memebership is 5 years old and still no COD VIP thing. Probably just a crapshoot who gets in.
