[CUSTOMSPOILER="General Info"]
Q. What is MyPunchcard?
A. MyPunchcard is a part of the Xbox LIVE Rewards program open to all members. Through MyPunchcard, Xbox LIVE Rewards members can get rewarded for performing a specific set of actions outlined in the Punchcard for each offer. Once all punches are earned on a specific Punchcard, get rewarded!

Q. How does MyPunchcard work?
A. Each Punchcard has a set amount of punches required in order to complete it. Once a specific action is completed and a punch is earned, it can take up to 96 hours for it to appear on the MyPunchcard page. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive a Reward once all punches have been earned and the entire Punchcard is complete. There is a limit of one Reward per one completed Punchcard, unless otherwise noted.

Q. Where can I find the available Punchcards?
A. To check out the available Punchcards, log into the Xbox LIVE Rewards site and visit the MyPunchcard page. The amount of available Punchcards each month will vary.

Q. Do Punchcards expire?

April's PlaytoEarn Punchcard
Check your status - May take 3-5 days to update
XBLA DLC purchases do not count toward the April Punchcard - source

Cornelius's list of sources for last-minute XBLA purchase ideas:
  • The Wikipedia page for XBLA releases, sorted by MSP.
  • Xbox.com's sorted list of best-selling XBLA titles.
  • Major Nelson's most-recent list of top 20 XBLA games purchased.
  • The Twisted Pixel bundle ... seriously, it's 3600 MSP worth of games for 800 MSP!
  • The DOTW for April 30th, listed on our OP, as well as Major Nelson's blog, which will go live around 4/30 @ 2am PDT, and be valid for 14-15 hours up through the promo's deadline between 4pm-5pm'ish PDT (depending how they've configured the reporting servers to account for GMT).
Note I was going to also suggest the "Angry Birds Trilogy" sale starting 4/30, but since it's a GoD title, it doesn't count.
  • Games your friends have picked up. Use the "Compare Games" feature on their profile, which will list their games in order of most-recently played by default.
  • Atari-published games, which you should assume will get de-published as soon as its game licenses/IP are sold off in bankruptcy court.
  • Games NOT found on compilation discs, because you can often find them "cheap" on eBay or used-game retailers. See this XBLA thread post (under "XBLA Discs") for more info & lists.
  • And finally, TylerH1701's list of XBLA games yet to go on sale
Hope this helps anyone's last-minute purchase dilemma. ;)

FAQ:
_________________________________________________

Q: So what is this and how much does it cost?
A: Xbox Rewards is a free loyalty program run by ePrize for the Microsoft Corporation. They offer free and Gold Xbox Live members "rewards" for completing survey, making qualified purchases, or other actions during a specified period.

Q: Where do I start?
A: You should start by reviewing the official FAQ. Once you are done there, and you have decided to join, you are ready to start earning rewards.

Q: I never got my reward for my first purchase after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ. You will only earn that reward for your first purchase from the marketplace ever. If you made a purchase before joining the program, you are out of luck.

Q: I never got my reward for activating Netflix after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ and some discussion with @XboxSupport You will only earn that reward for the first time you ever activate Netflix on your specific gamertag. If you did that before joining the program, you are out of luck. If you are still good, you have to have had Netflix activated for 1 month and have watched 2+ hours of streaming content during that time period.

Q: When will this end?
A: According to the official T&C, the program is scheduled to end at 3:59 p.m. GMT on June 30, 2012. It is possible that the program will be renewed or go after that, but there hasn't been more info on that yet.

Q: Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A: Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.

Q: How do I use my expiring Microsoft Points first?
A: Promotional points with expiration dates are automatically redeemed first before purchased points. [source]
Did anyone ever get their 140MSP back for adding 2800?
I posted in the Xbox Support forum & Miss Henanigans replied "The Rewards team is working on this one for you."

That was on Nov. 15th.

I just popped in to see if anything was going on on my rewards page and it says I've earned 120 points less than I have. I was 1990 last time I logged in and now I have earned 1870. Anyone else have this happen? I'm guessing the earliest rewards are dropping off the page since we are approaching the first full year.
Thanks!
Just posted there. Hopefully I will get results.
Well after waiting for weeks I never had my points added. She promised they would post by the weekend, but never did. I posted again and am hoping for results this time.
Well after waiting for weeks I never had my points added. She promised they would post by the weekend, but never did. I posted again and am hoping for results this time.
Ditto, just bumped my post. Truth be told I don't think we'll ever see this resolved. We've been promised what 4 or 5 times now that it would be fixed by a certain date only to have that date come and go by. I'm not going to throw a fit like some people on those forums over it, it's only 140msp. Though those of us though who were patient the whole time it's still disappointing. It's the last time I try and do a offer through the rewards site, because it seems they have one problem or another every month.

What I think happened though is they forgot to add the 2012 date after October
New survey and promo is up.

:(

Oh, and I'm also still not showing the promo points for adding 2800 from Oct.

Double :(
God damn, I knew I was missing points. Thanks for reminding me about the promo. Me and my father haven't gotten our referral points for Gold, and he hasn't gotten his renewal points. Also, unless you can think of 3 movies I can rent for 80 MSP each, not interested.

GAH! Another horrible month! Who buys anything off the zune marketplace? Almost as bad as last month's promo.

Another update. She replied to my post saying she would look into. Days later no PMs or responses. I don't really expect anything anymore.

They just keep promising and promising to get it fixed, the date comes and goes and nope...and now it's January at the earliest that they'll be given to us. I really don't see why it's such a problem for them to fix.

So HAS anyone gotten any points? I redeemed 2 1600 point cards bought at retail, so I know the issue (at least in my case) doesn't have to do with promotional points.
...so regarding the october points no one is getting back. Alot of reasons given i've seen is due to use of promotional points. Was there anything, anywhere that stated this?
Not that I saw, but I assumed that was the case. I redeemed 2x 1600 retail cards in addition to promotional points and still nothing.

Back in September, I activated Netflix for the first time through rewards.xbox.com & I never got my bonus points :[
I also renewed my XBL account (silver at the time) with a 12-month card in October, still no points >:[

I would like to chime in that I redeemed a 4000 point card and got my reward points back in my November statement, so it might be working for some people.

Silver members do not get any credit for activating Netflix on their consoles.

Silver members must purchase/renew their gold subscription via MS to receive any credit. Only gold members get credit for subscription renewals using prepaid cards.

Nope, which is why I think it's BS. When they had the add up there was nothing about promotional points what so ever, it just said redeem 2800 and get 140 back, plain and simple.
Another update. She replied to my post saying she would look into. Days later no PMs or responses. I don't really expect anything anymore.
Well from just looking at the forums. The speel now it that there manually inputting the points into everyone accounts, which I'll believe it when I see it when someone reports it.

Yeah, funny how when they screw something up and we get points they're able to "fix" it within a couple of hours. But when we don't get points that were promised and earned it takes them a month or more to "fix" it.
I finally have 140 points pending on my account!
I assume you're talking about the Oct promo cause I also have it showing up as pending now.

Sweet, October promo is in my account as well. Complaining about this was on my to-do list after my birthday on the 8th, so this saves me some time. Still have to go to them about the lack of Refer-A-Friend credit and my dad's lack of First Renewal bonus, but I guess they're getting there.
I finally have 140 points pending on my account!
Just showed up pending in my account today! Now I can obsess over something else for awhile. ;)

Yeah same here, it's been a while since i last logged in at the rewards page but when i entered today i finally have those october points pending. With that done i might give a chance to this month reward.

Last December, you were among the first to join Xbox LIVE Rewards. So as a special thank you, we're giving you an "Xbox Loves You" T-Shirt for your Avatar. Simply redeem the enclosed gift token on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Male or female, your Avatar will proudly show that you're a veteran Xbox LIVE Rewards member.

So I just got an Xbox and Live. Signed up for rewards. I did the survey for the 20 points. How long till they appear on the account. It made it seem like it would be instant.

I think he means how long does it take for the points to appear pending on your account, but I could be wrong.
I was hoping we might finally get another marketplace rebate offer.
This makes me sad. I just redeemed a 12 month card a few days ago..

Entered a 12 month code and did the survey for Jan. Let's hope we don't have to ask about the points/wait for an extended period of time like the Oct points redemption offer.

Redeemed my 12 month card yesterday and did my Jan survey as well. Got my pending points for the survey but no notification for pending rewards. Guess I have to hope that it goes through.

Same here.

My sub didnt expire until Aug 2012 and now it says Aug 2013. I remember reading once on the Rewards forum about a person with a similiar issue and they told them they had to wait until the end of the first sub for them to get the points.

Under that definition, I'd have to wait until AUG 2012, and my first renewal card to expire and switch to the one I just entered, to get credited the 400 points.

I hope that isnt the case. I usally dont show a leap of faith for these things and only enter my code in when my sub is really about to expire to get points but I took one now because the 400 points were too tempting. I hope my faith is rewarded....

Same exact situation for me. Mine is now good through November 2013. We'll see if we get the points.

I thought it was common knowledge that these limited time "renew your subscription" offers were only good for the scarce few that have their subscription about to expire that month, no? I thought I read that in one of Reddjoey's other threads, or somewhere at any rate.

There's 2 separate offers. On the dashboard, you're likely to see an ad allowing you to renew a 12 month subscription for $39.99 OR redeem a 12 month retail card and get 600 MSP back. This is detected by expiring subscriptions.
In xbox rewards, if you renew a 12 month card, you get 400 MSP back, regardless of when your subscription expires.

I've only gotten credit from XBox Rewards when the card kicked in, not when I applied it to the account. Do you have any proof that they've changed that policy?

So the consensus seems to be that when I submit my XBox Live 12 month card before the end of January, it will renew my Live, but I won't get the points until my current subscription expires?

I'd hate to miss out on the extra 200 points just because my expiration date is FEBRUARY 2.

This is the truth. Mine ended Jan 12, but I renewed via card on Jan 5th. My reward just now showed up the day after my original contract expired. So, yes, you are screwed. This rewards people who's accounts expire in Jan. Kind of stupid if you ask me. It doesn't really encourage more people to renew, it just randomly rewards those that would have had to renew anyway.

Good week for those who need to stack their XBL subscriptions. I wanted to take advantage of the double points (400) for renewing XBL during January. Going to pick up a card at Best Buy today.

So I just renewed by subscription since my gold account expired last week. Used the promo on the rewards site for 12 months/400 pts back, after picking up a retail card.

When should I see these points, the 15th of next month right?

New rewards are up:
Feb survey is worth 40 points instead of the usual 20.

Guess this is a good time to pick up that DLC that hasn't been or seems likely to never be on sale.
