[CUSTOMSPOILER="General Info"]
Q. What is MyPunchcard?
A. MyPunchcard is a part of the Xbox LIVE Rewards program open to all members. Through MyPunchcard, Xbox LIVE Rewards members can get rewarded for performing a specific set of actions outlined in the Punchcard for each offer. Once all punches are earned on a specific Punchcard, get rewarded!

Q. Who is eligible for MyPunchcard?
A. All Xbox LIVE Rewards members are eligible to participate in MyPunchcard. To start earning punches for completing specific actions, join Xbox LIVE Rewards now for free if you haven’t already: http://rewards.xbox.com.

Q. How does MyPunchcard work?
A. Each Punchcard has a set amount of punches required in order to complete it. Once a specific action is completed and a punch is earned, it can take up to 96 hours for it to appear on the MyPunchcard page. Xbox LIVE Rewards members are only eligible to receive a Reward once all punches have been earned and the entire Punchcard is complete. There is a limit of one Reward per one completed Punchcard, unless otherwise noted.

Q. Where can I find the available Punchcards?
A. To check out the available Punchcards, log into the Xbox LIVE Rewards site and visit the MyPunchcard page. The amount of available Punchcards each month will vary.

Q. Do Punchcards expire?
A. Yes. Once a Punchcard expires, no further punches will be provided for actions completed after that date. Expiration dates for each Punchcard vary and are listed on the MyPunchcard page found here.

Q. I completed a Punchcard! How do I claim my Reward?
A. If the Reward is Microsoft Points, they will appear under Pending on your MyRewards page by the 15th of the following month. If the Reward is anything other than Microsoft Points, an email will be sent to your contact email listed here with instructions to redeem your Reward. The Rewards for completion of a Punchcard will vary with each Punchcard offer. Rewards will not be provided during the Punchcard offer period.

April's PlaytoEarn Punchcard
Check your status - May take 3-5 days to update
XBLA DLC purchases do not count toward the April Punchcard - source

Cornelius's list of sources for last-minute XBLA purchase ideas:
  • The Wikipedia page for XBLA releases, sorted by MSP.
  • Xbox.com's sorted list of best-selling XBLA titles.
  • Major Nelson's most-recent list of top 20 XBLA games purchased.
  • The Twisted Pixel bundle ... seriously, it's 3600 MSP worth of games for 800 MSP!
  • The DOTW for April 30th, listed on our OP, as well as Major Nelson's blog, which will go live around 4/30 @ 2am PDT, and be valid for 14-15 hours up through the promo's deadline between 4pm-5pm'ish PDT (depending how they've configured the reporting servers to account for GMT).
Note I was going to also suggest the "Angry Birds Trilogy" sale starting 4/30, but since it's a GoD title, it doesn't count.
  • Games your friends have picked up. Use the "Compare Games" feature on their profile, which will list their games in order of most-recently played by default.
  • Atari-published games, which you should assume will get de-published as soon as its game licenses/IP are sold off in bankruptcy court.
  • Games NOT found on compilation discs, because you can often find them "cheap" on eBay or used-game retailers. See this XBLA thread post (under "XBLA Discs") for more info & lists.
  • And finally, TylerH1701's list of XBLA games yet to go on sale
Hope this helps anyone's last-minute purchase dilemma. ;)

FAQ:
_________________________________________________

Q: So what is this and how much does it cost?
A: Xbox Rewards is a free loyalty program run by ePrize for the Microsoft Corporation. They offer free and Gold Xbox Live members "rewards" for completing survey, making qualified purchases, or other actions during a specified period.

Q: Where do I start?
A: You should start by reviewing the official FAQ. Once you are done there, and you have decided to join, you are ready to start earning rewards.

Q: I never got my reward for my first purchase after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ. You will only earn that reward for your first purchase from the marketplace ever. If you made a purchase before joining the program, you are out of luck.

Q: I never got my reward for activating Netflix after joining the rewards program?
A: According to the official FAQ and some discussion with @XboxSupport You will only earn that reward for the first time you ever activate Netflix on your specific gamertag. If you did that before joining the program, you are out of luck. If you are still good, you have to have had Netflix activated for 1 month and have watched 2+ hours of streaming content during that time period.

Q: When will this end?
A: According to the official T&C, the program is scheduled to end at 3:59 p.m. GMT on June 30, 2012. It is possible that the program will be renewed or go after that, but there hasn't been more info on that yet.

Q: Will my Xbox LIVE Rewards Points expire?
A: Rewards Points do expire, so be sure to use them by June 30, 2012.

Q: How do I use my expiring Microsoft Points first?
A: Promotional points with expiration dates are automatically redeemed first before purchased points. [source]

Nope. I tried to do it back in January but my LIVE doesn't run out until 09/2012, so now it won't take effect until September. Here's hoping they do another promo like that for September, because now my LIVE doesn't expire until 09/2013. lol

Ah, thanks.

So I redeemed my 12 month card on the 1st, still no points for it. was there some sort of restriction to getting points for 12 month cards? also havent gotten any of the points back for "stay gold in feb. get %5 back on all purchases"...

I don't know if the Feb 5% rebate points show up as pending from the date of your purchase or from the end date of the promotion. I only have the March survey show up as pending and was expecting to see the Feb rebate points up to 96 hours from the end of Feb. As for redeeming the card on the first, definitively wait up to 96 hours.

Or I guess this is a more official response:
@XboxLIVErewards What about the 5% Points back from February? When will the points appear? Bought stuff early in February, but nothing yet

@AntaraelDulacre Hi there! They'll show up within the next week or so :) Keep an eye on your Pending Points!

So regarding those who bought gold in January in hopes of getting the 400 Microsoft points back here is the answer I got back from Microsoft. It states we may be waiting up to 10 weeks.... I received this e-mail 30Jan12

Hello Eric ,

Thank you for contacting XBOX Customer Support. I am Fred and I understand you have concerns about subscription promotions. Well, promotions on the Xbox Live are limited time offers only. Codes for downloadable game, digital item and promotional Microsoft Points will be sent to the email tied to the Xbox Live account at the time the code is sent. In most cases these codes are sent within 10 weeks of the offer expiration date. In some cases, points may be deposited directly into your Xbox Live account. This direct deposit will generally occur within 10 weeks and you will not receive a confirmation email. If you still haven’t received your item after 10 weeks, please call 1-800-469-9269 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM EST. Valid email required; any promotional redemption code or gift not redeemed or claimed, or returned as non-deliverable, will not be re-sent.

My pending MSP went from 340 earlier today, to just now 450. I don't see double points though for renewing 12 month xbl gold. It shows 200 msp instead of 400 microsoft points.
My Gold in Feb 5% rebate is showing up as pending now.
I logged in to my account and I saw the rebate. Right after I submitted March's survey, the rebate went away (??????) along with March's surveys's points. I'm not panicking as I'm sure it'll pop up later but definitely weird.

As its this months Reward, it wont be effective until the month is out. So you'll get the extra points in the following month phase (just like the Feb 5% has just been added now in March)

You're mistaken actually. Before March, they had a deal with xbl rewards where you got Double Points for renewing your xbl gold 12 month membership.

Got 50 MSP back. According to billing.microsoft.com, I spent 2,420 MSP in February (600 on Bastion, 1,580 on XBLA DLC, 240 on indie games), which should be 121 points back. Even if some of my 2/29 purchases missed some sort of UTC based cutoff time, based on the order of things I purchased, I don't see how they came to 1,000 spent / 50 back unless purchases under 400 MSP didn't count. Guess I'll ask on their forum.

Just played, it's a tile matching game. When you click start it just starts and I sat there for 15 seconds before I realized I was supposed to start flipping tiles (it looks just like an ad cut into pieces).

Anyway, I matched them and it said come back daily until 4/12 for more chances so I guess I didn't win.

Getting 90 points back, bought 11 indie games and 800pt crimson alliance. Nice they rounded up.
Also played that tile game, got 47 seconds, and the come back daily message.

The match game is infuriating. The tiles are slow to flip back and don't react very quickly either.

This morning I played it nearly perfectly. And still took 36 seconds and did not receive any reward. Has anyone won anything from the match game?

Played the past two days and no luck. It doesn't give a real message at the end, just come back tomorrow. I'm not sure if the time has anything to do with winning either. There isn't much said about how you win.

GUYS, it doesn't matter how fast you win the game. This is a standard instant win game. Most of them work the same way. This is from the official rules. It is completely random dumb luck. No skill. Don't feel pressured into doing the game fast.

a) Instant Win Game: There will be two thousand one hundred fifty (2,150) random, computer-generated winning times during the Promotion Period. If you are the first player to play the Instant Win Game at or after one of the randomly-generated times, you will be a potential instant winner of the prize indicated.

They chose the day/time for each of the 2150 wins before the contest even started and the people lucky enough to play at that time or be the first to play after that time WINS. It doesn't matter if it takes him 10 hours to complete the matching game.

Am I the only one who didn't get full credit on last month's reward. I purchased 1440 points worth of marketplace content and only show 40 points back. I'm going back and forth with customer service now. The first person obviously didn't actually read my support request. I carefully gave an itemized list of everything I purchased and how many points it cost and all I got back was a standardized description of how rewards work.

Anyone else get points this morning? I woke up to 400MSP added to my account... which is what I expected to get this month.

...but March 12th is kind of early for these to show up, no?

Got my 100 today. If I remember correctly, I've had them show up slightly early before.

I've always been told it's "around" the 15th and well today is the 12th lol

I got my points today as well. I also got them early the last time they had the 5% rebate. I think it might have something to do with alot of people getting their points late the first time they ran this promo.

Just got this in the inbox as a VIP offer:

Hi,

Ever wondered what it would be like to lead a double life? Here's your chance to change your identity and experience life in the shoes of a powerful ninja!

Change your Xbox LIVE Gamertag by April 15th during the Alter Your Ego Giveaway to receive a free Black Ninja Avatar Costume. This costume is normally worth 320 Microsoft Points in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Use your reflexes and stealth to take a look at the costume, and you'll see why it'll be worth it to alter your ego and gain a new identity!

how much does it cost to change a Gamertag? 560 MSP? and for that I get a free black ninja costume? but i like my GT :(

800msp.

If you like the gamertag, and want the ninja suit, just buy the ninja suit. There are like 10 different kinds of them as well, so more stuff to pick from. I think now is a good time to change mine though. I need something without spaces.

Seems like there are problems with people getting their 800MSP for signing up to Xbox Rewards during (early) Feburary, typical.

Anyone here got theirs yet?
If I received points on March 2nd and they're still pending - that would mean I don't get the points till April 15th correct?
Only if you have over 100 points pending.

I signed my brother up for that and he got his 800 deposited into his account on the 12th, which was the same day my 5% back points were deposited.
Sweet. 300msp just for waiting to buy Joe Danger and Daytona USA. Unless this is a terribly dry month for XBLA I would expect to spend 800msp by the end of the month anyway.
Just for clarification you have to do more than just spend 800 points.

3. How to Receive Offer: During the Offer Period, visit http://rewards.xbox.com/triple-play-offer/ and follow the links and instructions to participate in the Offer. Complete at least one (1) action from each of the three (3) categories listed below (Gaming, Entertainment, and Social) through your Xbox LIVE account and receive three hundred (300) Microsoft Points deposited directly into your Xbox LIVE Rewards account no later than May 15, 2012:

A. Gaming Category: You must complete one (1) of the following actions:

Play any Kinect game for two (2) cumulative hours or more during the offer period. The time accumulates between all Kinect games (for example, the time does not have to be spent on a single Kinect game).
Participate in multi-player gaming through your Xbox LIVE account for ten (10) cumulative hours or more during the Offer Period.
Spend 800 Microsoft Points or more on game-related items in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace (qualifying items are the following: Games On Demand, Game Add-Ons, or Arcade game titles).

B. Entertainment Category: You must complete one (1) of the following actions:

Use any of the following Entertainment apps for ten (10) cumulative hours or more during the offer period. I just spent 800 on South Park. Knew I should have waited a few days.

On the Triple Play Offer link, it's misleading to read that and your post, Sway, due to it saying "OR" between each of your A, B, and C topics on the "official" page.

Edit: Unless of course you need one from each category (IE. Gaming, Social, Entertainment)

Easiest for me would probably be:

Gaming: Experience multiplayer gaming on Xbox LIVE for 10 hours or more during the month of April.

Entertainment: Use any of these entertainment apps for 10 hours or more during the month of April: (cut due to space, but Netflix, MLB.TV, ESPN or Zune for me)

Social: Watch YouTube through your Xbox LIVE account for 1 hour or more during the month of April.

Makes me wish I still had Netflix... Guess I'll just leave Crackle running while I'm out of the house or something.

I play an obscene amount of multiplayer anyway, and 1 hour of YouTube aint nothin. Bring on the free points!
Honestly, more work than I want to do for 300 MS pts, even compared to the Bing stuff.
:rofl:Same here...

Sweet! I can buy Fez for 800msp and get 300msp back.

Nvm, didn't read it carefully enough. Says I have to complete one from each category.

Really? How hard is it to leave one of the video apps running for 10 hours, YouTube for 1 hour, and spend 800 MSPs or game for 2 or 10 hours?
