XBOX WIFI -- good times?!?

I am finally getting around to getting a wifi net at home.
Now I can hookup my Xbox to it and beat people online!
What's the best WIFI adapter to get?
Then I need to subscribe to Xbox Live, right?
Do people play more games than others online?
Prob the more recent ones?

There are lots of games that still have active players. There might only be one to two games going on at a time, but they still play.
