Xbox Wireless Adapter

CAGiversary!
So far the best "looking" deal is from Dell for $69.99 but I have a feeling that with tax + shipping it might be a good idea to just buy it from Amazon which has free shipping. Any other place have any good deals at the moment? I want to buy new and not used.

just wait, they're coming out with a wireless N adapter, that should drop the wireless G adaptor. Also to be a CAG if you have a laptop you can use that as your "wirless card" just search google about bridging connections very easy and works well. that's what I used before I got my adapter off ebay

360 wireless adapter is the biggest rip-off ever but what can we do, they are a must. my first adapter for my 1st 360 i paid $99, the 2nd adapter for my 2nd 360 i only paid $23 fuck microsoft im never buying one of those adapters new.

If you can't wait for the N adapter, a lot of unhappy gamers on CL (craiglist) are selling it for avg $50-$60 cash. You can probably work them to lower to price by $5 as well if you're that hard up to getting one.

If you want the best deal, find a used WGRT54 Linksys G Wireless Router, slap some DDRWT firmware on it, and now you've got a 4-port wireless bridge you can use for 4 different home entertainment devices. Other than that new M$ only, you're looking at Amazon - but I'd wait till after the N release.

Might as well jump on the Bridge or G adapter. The N is priced at $99 and the A/B/G one is dropping to $79. I just sold my A/B/G on amazon for $53. I purchased an Airport Extreme Base Station to replace it. Works wonders with my existing AEBS upstairs.

The wireless N card will bring the price of the G card down.. but do note that Amazon has it listed as being "discontinued" by the manufacturer. I picked one up from Amazon for ~$53.50 shipped as I felt that paying a few bucks more for a new one would give me more piece of mind than some random used one on Craigslist.

Plus, I don't think the price drop will even be that significant once the N card comes on the market. Probably $20-$30 at the most. Think about it, if they sell the G card for $50 or so, who the hell is going to buy the N card. For most people, the G card is plenty fast anyway.

You can always wait for Gamestop to release a coupon too.. get about 30% off of $69.99.

Haha. I guess I did not see what you posted. Good info to know. I actually just purchased a 360 (just came in the mail today) and I just purchased a wireless adapter as well. I got buyer's remorse once I found out that MS was coming out with a new adapter.. but after thinking about ~$53.50 for a new wireless adapter for the 360 is a damned good price. Also, I won't be able to take full advantage of the N card anyway as I will keep my 360 hooked up at my girlfriend's place and her 4 other roommates are always slowing down the cable.
