xbox wireless receiver with Trine

Greetings,

I recently got both Trine and a wireless xbox receiver and can't seem to get them both to work together. I checked online but couldn't find anything to help my issue.

I have updated the drivers fully for the controller and it is functioning properly both in the controller panel and in other games (tried it with Vessel). Trine recognizes the controller but it is greyed out on my gamepad options.

If it helps I have Windows 7 64bit.

Edit: I figured it out, wow I feel dumb now lol.

I know you solved it but I run into this problem some times. Did you forget to turn on the controller on before you start running the game?
