CAGiversary!
My first post here so be kind. Here's the link:

Nerds.net: $115.20 with 10 off with google checkout. Shipping may vary but to california it was 9.99, making shipping essentially free. It may be cheaper if shipping cost is less to your area. Maybe not a super-hot deal, but it is the lowest I've seen since for a while. I was going to wait for forza 2 to come out before buying, but intead I'll warm up w/ PGR3 and NFS carbon :)

yes i saw it a few days ago. Its like $64.50 or something. I thought about getting it for mysel but have no use for it. If anyone wants one, shoot me a PM with a trade list.

This can't be for the 1st party wheel...That would be insane

YMMV.

Walmart (SoCal) has it on the clearance for $100 flat. It's the one with the driving game too (i forgot which one). MS version not third party.
Jesus H. Christ even at a discount who the fuck would pay $100+ for a fucking video-game steering wheel?!?

That's highway robbery
I might consider it if it was really excellent, but everything I've
heard about the MS wheel suggests it leaves a lot to be desired...

Well, its not that bad considering it comes with PGR3. But then again that might be the only game that supports it.

I would never be able to spend that much on a wheel. Most of the time, the default console controller handles better anyway. And they are much too bulky.

IMO, the wheel is not worth the money (I received it as a gift). It MIGHT be worth it once Forza 2 comes out, but PGR 3 handles terribly with the wheel.

Long story short, this is the best thing to happen to Xbox 360 racing games. Ever. If you're a racing fan—or just want to become a racing fan—get this controller. Seriously.

& MS used to make awesome joysticks. look on ebay. the sidewinder force feedback 2 joysticks still go for over $100 even used. so they know how to make quality controllers. (despite the number of imploding 360s )
The Logitech whell is for $65 at TRU and not the MS one. Store employees tagged the wrong item.
That makes more sense. I'm fairly sure the Logitech wheel isn't wireless.

Btw, I've read a lot of good things about the Microsoft wireless wheel. While I have always played racing games with the controller, I might consider the MS one if I could get it for under $100.

$100 for a racing wheel is alot?

Have you guys seen the Logitech G25? That is the holy grail of racing wheels and I think its worth the money

is this for the old one or the new wheel with force feedback (aka rumble)?
I believe the new one has pedals and paddle shifters behind the wheel.

Edit: OMG

If it handles anything like the Logitech Driving Force Pro wheel, I'd drop $100+ on it in an instant. Guess it also helps if you actually like playing racers too.
