yeah, im sorry about that - didnt read it, just popped it in being so excited and all - but it does remind me as to how overpriced the ARCADE LIVE is
 
I'm confused. So this isn't a disc with the Xbox Live Arcade software on it? (The thing you can pay $5 to have MS mail to you.)

What is it then.
 
EB has the Arcade disc with a free version of Ms. Pac Man. This disc can also be used to purchase the very overpriced XBOX Arcade games.
 
I clear some things up for you guys.

You get the free Arcade disc which has the full version of Ms Pac Man when you preorder Mech Assault 2

The "teaser" CD, which is the same one Microsoft puts on their website, and the same one MANIMAL is talking about, which is also the same one you get for pre-ordering Mech Assault 2, has a full free version of Ms. Pac-Man.

The other games are purchased, from $4.99-$14.99 (maybe more). Billed to your credit card that backs XBL. Just like download content purchases.

Once you buy 'em, they're yours. Just like downloaded content.
 
Hopefully they come out with some better games.
I'm all for the classics, but they are just rehashes from Namco Arcade. There is also some solitaire and Mahjohng type games as well I think.
 
I randomly received the disk with the rcade software in the mail 2 weeks ago. I never requested or paid for it.
 
I know what the Arcade is, I was just confused by the first couple of posts and wondering why they were giving these away free. But I will check it out on the way home.

Ah, so that's why the EB employee was so confused when I aksed him for a Mechassault 2 demo... :)
 
OOO i'm guessing the post originally said MA2 demo free at EB? then he edited it to say that its just the arcade disc with a MA2 ad on the front...

it all makes sense now..


because the way i read it, the first post basically said..
Free XBOX Arcade discs at EB
then his nex post was like... Its just an XBOX ARCADE disc with MA2 ad on the front!

so that confused me
