There's at least $2.99 shipping for each of these...
Oh right, forgot shipping. For some reason I always tend to forget shipping - unless it happens to be something outrageous (in which case I usually think WTF?).
You wouldn't happen to be from the company that makes these would you..?
Nope, I'm not them - but in all honesty I do know one of the guys there very well (since childhood actually). Is that a bad thing?

;) Cool, you're welcome! They told me that they were gonna do a big sale to get people to try their stuff and I said I'd help them if I could. But since I've been a forum admin myself, I'm not about to go around spamming boards about them. Then I remembered that CAG is all about gaming deals (and this is totally a legitimate deal), so I thought hey why not?

On a more personal level, I wanted to get the scoop just once. You see, I've never (and I mean never) gotten the scoop on any deal site or forum I've ever been on. Sometimes I miss it by mere seconds and I had to deal with replies like "welcome to 10 seconds ago" or something like that. But this time, since only I knew, redemption was at hand my friend.

hmm it only connects via rca red/white cables? I'm using hdmi. doesn't appears theres a toslink version or I might try it out. hmm I wonder, guess I could run the audio out from the tv itself right. anyone tried one of these things? I'm lookin at the amped version.
. . . and then somebody one stars your thread. Oh, the humanity.
Yeah, but let's be honest, it kinda sucked. I mean, it started off well with a good legit deal. But then it quickly deteriorated into a self-congratulatory tirade on my part.

Hey LordCancer, you might want to hold off for a bit. Just bumped into one of the guys yesterday at a New Year's partay, and they mentioned that they were working on HDMI-compatible versions of their kits. Don't know if or when those will be released, but I did hear them mention that they're on it.

Thanks, in for one. I tried to jerry-rig my pc headset for 360 once and it didn't work. This should work.

Can anyone vouch for this thing? I can't find hardly any reviews of it. I could really use something like this, but a similar item from Steelseries is $40. (Steelseries overprices everything)

No problem, you're welcome. No sense trying to improvise a solution when they're supposed to be coming up with one. I'm not sure how they plan to do it, but if you're curious you can always email them for some advance info.

Oh hey Rhett, I actually have one. It's an early production sample and they gave it to me for free a little while back. Haven't used it lately as I let my XBL gold lapse (not as much free time to play these days), but I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have about it. As I mentioned before, I know one of the guys there, so I'd confine my answers to a factual nature to try and remain as objective as I can (i.e. - prob not gonna say things like awesome, sucky, etc.).
