XP settings

So on my computer I am a system administrator and when I go into my computer I can see everyone else's documents. Now is there a setting I can change so I onl;y see my and the shared documents. Not a big deal, it just annoys me sometimes.

Simple...

Get TweakUI from Microsoft (a XP PowerToy)..under the MY COMPUTER section you can choose to turn off FILES STORED ON THIS COMPUTER and they disapear.

There are some other powertoys you can download and use too...but TweakUI will do the trick.

When I try to install it it gives the message: The procedure entry point GetDllDirectoryW could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll Any ideas?

Do you have SP1 or 2 installed?

So then Tweak UI doesn't work with SP1?

Edit: Never mind, I got it to work.

put it this way...last year when I built my new system and had to reformat and start from scratch, i went online while SP2 was dl and i was hit with spam/spyware within mins... Sp2 was a real saver.. trust me on this one.

I still use SP1 too. I've only heard bad things still about SP2.
