If anyone is interested in joining another CAG Yahoo baseball league, let me know and I'll get the info to you.

Its going to be a 14 team league, and as of right now, I haven't tweekend any of the settings.

Invites have been sent to everyone that has requested one. And it looks like we'll have 4 spots to fill once the invites are filled.

Also, is everyone cool with having their team name in the OP, to make it easier to work out trades, if needed? Let me know either way.
 
havine the team name in the op is fine with me.....I have never played in a head 2 head league...how does that work?

Nope thats cool. And head to head leagues work like this. You have set categories that you compete in each week. Exp for hitting, R,HR,RBI, AVG. You are matched up against a diffrent team every week and whoever comes out on top of each category gets a point for that category. So if there are a total of 10, and you win 6 out of the 10 uyour record for that week is 6-4.

As for the team name in the OP, just got ahead and pm me your team name (to keep clutter to a minimum) and then I'll add it to the OP with a direct link to PM and view the team.

Also, I plan to use this as a hub for the league, by keeping the OP updated with the weekly match ups (as long as there is interest), discussions about the league, and other stuff related to the league.

its by categories. i think craven has it set to default so basically each category you win will count towards the overall record for your team..so lets say you won avg,runs,hr, and rbis, and whip and i won wins,saves,era i would still get the 3 i won but you would get the ones you won..so you would go 5-3 for that week while i would go vice versa..the other cag league has some wierd categories in it that i never seen like HLD...
 
We don't have to be online at the draft do we? I have a pre cannan (sp?) class I have to take before I get married. Won't be home untill about 8pm.

i just messed up and accidently accepted a trade for furcal for rolen when i meant to decline it. Can everyone please vote against the trade. Sorry for the mix up for whoever has the cheap bastards

If I can, I'll take care of it from my end.

Also, people, don't be afraid to make counter-offers. I know some of the offers are weak sauce, but just make a counter and see where it goes from there.

Edit: Also, if there are any more addicts out there, that want to play in another league, let me know.

Edit 2: Damnit, I cancelled my trade attempt to you, thinking I was offering Rolens. :dunce:
 
Let me know if anyone does another league, I think I got my draft strategy down now. I'll have to get some sleepers through waivers if I want to do anything in this one.

I'll try to get another, more organized, one up by the weekend and try have a draft around 8 on Sunday.

Edit: I don't know which player to drop for the guy I want, Declarmen or Hansen. Part of me is leaning towards Declarmen, but I'm stuck.

And I hope Hanley ends up starting at SS before too long, as I don't think Everett is going to produce for me.

Edit 2: Hanley Ramirez has a spot in the Marlins line up
 
craven thanks for voiding the trade.

I've been getting a lot of offers for Furcal, (im not totally against it though) i'd actually like to keep him and get rid of Jeter, Uribe, or Guillén.
 
Alright, first order of business, I have a few players on the trading block and would be open to some moves. Just send requests and I'll see if we can make a move of some sort.

But for those interested, I did start up another league, so if you're as insane as I am with fantasy baseball, pm me for the info. Also set the draft date for next Tuesday at 9 pm ET, but it can be changed once we fill the league up.
 
Sorry to hijack your thread craven, but I also started a head to head yahoo league with some of my friends and we need 3 more people to make 10 teams. If anybody here would like to join, shoot me a PM and I'll send you the info.
