I only saw the show a few times, becuase I never had cable. Seems to be a pretty good fanbase though.

This is great. I heard about Clarissa hitting DVD a few days ago before Pete & Pete was confirmed, and had my fingers crossed. I wonder how thorough this "Rewind Collection" series will end up being. Would love to see You Can't Do That On Television, Salute Your Shorts, etc. come to DVD as well.

Edit: Looks like there is an entire thread on this already. :shock:

Oh, my god. That's beautiful. There are so many great old shows coming out on DVD...Sanford and Son, The A-team, Quantum Leap, MacGuyver, and now this! Geez, I need to start saving...

Now to really make my day, they need to put Camp Anawanna, The Angry Beavers, Rocko's Modern Life, and a few other things on DVD...

The name of the show with Camp Anawanna was Salute Your Shorts.
 
i can not wait Camp Anawanna and hey dude were awesom shows. Are you afraid of the dark was also realy cool, that show you could watch no matter what age you are.

EDIT: I'm browsing the ep. list and notice that S1 is 8 episodes. But what about ALL the specials that preceded S1. It didn't become a weekly series until '92, I believe -- I recall those prior specials airing about once every 6 weeks or so. How about those on DVD?

The set is 292 minutes long, so they have to have something else in there. 8 episodes should only be about 175 minutes.

And no it doesn't, I watch the channel a lot (mainly for RFR and Degrassi), and it no longer comes on. Maybe now and then, but they used to show Clarissa, too.

Last time I checked, Salute Your Shorts comes on Nickelodeon GAS often, but that might have changed.

And of course, Nicktoons TV is one of my favorite channels.

Can't wait for this DVD.

Did you know that the guy who played Artie also does the voices for Con (Hank's Laotian neighbor) and Cotton (Hank's Dad)?
