There are no rules against this but there should be rules against threadcrapping. If you want something, by all means, send me an "offer". I just don't get it, if you don't like it, don't post.
 
Yeah, I had prices on my stuff before I did it this way as well. I found that everything becomes an auction anyway, so I'm not sure what his issue is.

If I list $20, someone posts they'll give $14 shipped, somebody else says, hell no, I'll give you $15 shipped and there's your "auction" in a priced thread.

I thought I did well getting rid of a bunch of stuff and making enough money to pay the hospital bills and people got deals better than they would have if I had priced everything myself. Both parties were happy. If they were to make things like this against the rules, that would basically be saying no offering amounts other than those listed.

Exactly. Like I said, your method was genius which is why I wanted to do something similar. It's not like I'm gouging for things, and I bet on some of this stuff, I could get a higher amount through ebay easily. I just chose not to go that route. I figured a CAG listing like this would help my wallet for the holidays and people that are interested in the items get a great deal too.

Of course, if somebody has an exception with it, go talk to a mod and see what they say. Don't post in the thread, I mean, seriously??? What do you think the reaction would be? /rant

I'm sorry, to whoever posted their dislikes towards this thread, I have to disagree with you. I really like the way this tradelist sale is set-up because it streamlines the trading process. It's within the cag community so you know you can trust people, and evreyone benifits in some way whether it be the lack of ebay fees or getting a great price on an item. I would love to seeing another one of these tradelist sales in the future.
 
There's a lot of stuff I have yet to go through that I also need to sell. So, I'm thinking about doing another sale next week, complete with linked pictures this time. Not sure yet, but keep your eyes peeled.

Having said that, less than 2.5 hours left.
