Two more idiot buyer tales:
1. I have a game listed for $300. Guy from Italy asks how much for shipping, I tell him $120 via either FedEx/UPS. Meanwhile, somebody else buys the game. A few days later, he sends me a message asking if I'll sell it for $230 shipped. :applause:
(Honorable mention about same game: Guy from the UK asks for my zip code so he can calculate how much shipping will be, and tells me that FedEx shipping will be $10, so he submits an offer of $290. Right. I probably couldn't even ship it within the state for $10.)
2. Some clown (another European, coincidentally) asking me to sell a game for less because "that's what it was going for a year ago," and lying to me about what it "normally costs." :roll:

People these days. Shit like this makes me wish I could reach in the computer and slap some sense into them.

Perhaps clarify that you're offering him $12 and one 2 liter of Diet Pepsi for Demon's Souls and whatever the hell other game he had up there. Then ask about the condition of the two games. TRUE STORY! This one time I put on facebook that I needed another 360 controller and my friend Tad, (Went to High school with him, in a local band) said that he had one with a wireless connector for windows games. Said he played GTA San Andreas once with it and didn't like it.

Said he'd give it to me for a 2-liter of Vault (Coke) :D

I got a quick question, what can a scammer do you your paypal email? aside from getting spam?

At first, she was like I am interested in buying ps3. Then she pulled a, Would you send it to my daughter in Africa since I am busy at work bs. She offer to pay $100 more and that was the time she was asking for my email paypal.

Just another scammer. They send you money, you ship and then they charge-back. By asking for your paypal email, they push the sense of quick payment, which some people fall for.

Don't even reply. Just delete and move on.

Most people here are probably savvy enough to just ignore the spam. Don't bother spamming them back, because it's likely that it's either a stolen account, or a disposable one.

I acquired this unit over 10 yrs ago on ebay from a
guy who had purchased several of these from a
wholesale source in Canada. Gentleman claimed that
it was new in the box and never played or even
turned on. Since I bought it, it has been in proper
storage in a non-smoking house and kept completely
intact without any disturbance of any kind. Don't
believe I have any additional pics of this console but I
will check and post if possible. My wife takes all the
pics but she is out of the country on a cruise. It
is a beautiful unit and for what I am asking....an
absolute steal. If you buy it now, I will even throw in a
game of my choice as I have many games still left to
list as well as other systems. Thanks.

That's like a guy I met who bought boxes of postcards off ebay and couldn't understand why he couldn't get $3-4 each for landscapes :whee:
I told him I could go right down the road and get them for 20 cents each, so I ended up picking out a few girlie ones for 50 cents each--more because I felt sorry for the dude than anything.

But really, $550 firm? That's absurd. I bought and sold an NES system with 34 games close to the $100 mark on both ends, and that still felt like too much.

I'm doing an early spring cleaning and have a TON of Naruto dvd's I was going to throw out but just remembered about craigslist as I was about too...lol!

So if you want any of the volumes, theres either 4 or 5 episodes a volume, you MUST CALL ME at 631-897-4573 and say "NARUTO IS THE BEST" when I answer. Obviously its a first come first serve basis. I will not ship as I don't have the $ too and I would throw away instead, like I was in the first place. And I have about 20 volumes.
