I actually have a weird problem with my model 1 genesis, the sound doesn't work at all on my HDTV but still works on any old tube TV, but the model 2 sound works fine on any TV I have. I have still never been able to find out why this happens
 
are you connecting both with standard RCA cables? the two plugs for genesis?

You can always try to pull audio from the headphone jack in the front, with the bonus that it comes through in stereo!
 
Finally, the stupidity streak has ended! My Virtua Cop machine is no more!

I was contacted earlier this week by someone who owns a game shop in Penn Hills and she offered to either buy it or trade for it.

I ended up trading it for a Street Fighter stand-up, in damn fine condition + a 2008 Game Box (multi). The only thing I need is an adapter for Jamma.

The fiance isn't too happy, since she wanted me to just sell it, but eh, whatever. :lol:

The thing I love is that the "nes-001....the first DS ever made" turned out to not even be worth anything and the guy at the video game store told him that, but people STILL think its worth a lot!

There was actually an earlier episode of the show where the fat dude found a boxed SNES and I think he said "thats a 100 dollar bill right there" (he might have said 50 I cant remember) but no one seems to ever mention that when selling overpriced games. At least 50-100 is a more reasonable price and you probably COULD sell one for that much on ebay

There was a guy on our Tucson craigslist that wanted $80 a piece for a SNES with no cords or games and an NES that had a huge chip in it with no hinge.

Somebody must have put him in his place because now he just wants to trade both for a copy of New Vegas.

That is so stupid for the basic reason that asking for certain titles makes people that have them wonder why you would want them hence looking them up and seeing what they are actually worth. And why showcase stuff like Megaman 2 (at the front of the storage case) when you can instead highlight such quality, rarity, and value as Top Gun.
