I had the same problem when I tried to sell mine. People didn't want to pay $90 for a near mint DS. They like to talk about how there's no warranty so it's not worth more than 60-70. That's just ridiculous. I give up trying to sell anything on craigs list.
 
I'm about 95% sure the majority of people browsing craigslist ads are uneducated or somewhat akward, or something, whatever it could be. Or AT LEAST the people who show interest in MY stuff. Why? because I sometimes (for kicks and to prove a point), put in big bold letters stuff like

"NO EMAILS, PHONE CALLS ONLY"

"NO TRADES"

"IF THE AD IS STILL UP IT'S STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE, DON'T ASK ME THIS"

and sure enough, I still get people emailing, still get people asking me "is it still available" "will you take my trash for your goodies" "will you hold it until my grandma gives me my allowance" "will you deliver it to me"

Why should I drive out 30+ miles to sell a $10 item? It would costs me more gas then the item! for a measly 10 bucks? When people act like this, I just hit the delete button and find someone else. I think some of them are just trolls looking to see if you really won't respond to them. Lowballers aren't really an issue for me. I price my shit really low to begin with anyway and people just come and take it off my hands and slip me the moola.

I made some decent cash this month unloading junk I had in my basement. Next month I'll be doing some bargain hunting for sure.

This month craigslist selling has been a breeze for me. Not sure why. I've been doing phone call only transactions and so far so good. People seem to flake out when you negotiate by email.

I have a guy right now thats holding a ps2 bundle deal for me. Talked with him for a few days about it says he's in no hurry to sell so thats cool.

They never made HDMI cables for the ps2 did they? A/V devices look horrible on my LCD because it's 480i/480p standard def.

Where else are you going to get 90 quality VHS tapes for $30? Most have been recorded on only once and viewed a couple of times. Most are erased and include TDK, Maxell, Sony, Scotch, 3M Blackwatch, (etc), not cheapo tapes.

I sold my SNES model 2 this morning for $35. I had tested it and it worked fine. So a few hours later I get an email from the guy. I'm like "oh shit please tell me it works". Turns out he just sent me a thank you email. Just goes to show you that not all buyers on Craigslist are people with children that break shit.

Cops don't care mutch about Pirated DVD's I am on probation and out of the 20 or so movies they have shown us at probation classes most of them have been bootleg copies, they even ask us to get them copies of our movies so they can show them in the future.

Ya, I agree selling bootlegs is stupid, but I dont think it si something the cops care about, It's one of those things that whoever owns the copyright has to get a lawyer and go through it that way. I always just flag stuff liek that if I'm nto to lazy, there are so many people selling bootlegs on my local Craigslist, most pose as regular sellers untill you call them. I always tell them that I woudl jsut bootleg it myself if i wanted a bootleg copy.

Ye Olde Mario, you can choose the radio button option to disable the anonymous craigslist email. I.e. you put your phone number in the ad and that's the only option the people get if they want to contact you...

As for HDMI for PS2, nope not that I'm aware. It was component (RGB) at best for the Xbox/PS2/Gamecube - in fact you can use the same component cable for the PS2 as for the PS3.

Yeah, those are HILARIOUS. Always from stupid soccer moms or smartmouth punks who are compelled to try to get the last word in. They simply cannot help it; it's in their nature and an involuntary reaction on their part.

But I love to reply to those with some obvious sarcasm such as "Oh thank God, because I've been losing sleep worrying about it all this time" or "Oh that's too bad, because I've been thinking about your offer and wanted to sell it to you for $X LESS than you were asking just to take it off my hands..."

Then if they respond back to the latter with something like "oh I'll still take it off your hands" you break it to them with "no, dumbass, that was sarcasm. Jesus just how stupid are you?"
