my god i need to get what he's smoking. i wish i could do deals like that here. everyone wants 800 for a flashed 360 or 900 for a 40gig ps3 up to 1600 for a 60gig. is anywhere else full of the ads to fix game systems? we have quite a few that keep lying to people saying it takes up to 6 months to get your 360 back from microsoft and even in warranty it will cost you $250. i did a response ad telling people the truth and got spammed to hell. basically told everyone depending on the issue its free in warranty, usually takes about a week to send and recieve a new consoles, issues arent as often as they were but do still happen, and modding does void your warranty

I think I found a prime example of craigslist stupidity. There's a fella in the area who seems to be selling off his game collection... he's got listings for a saturn bundle, n64 bundle, xbox bundle etc. It looks like he's only willing to sell in bundles and it's fair to say he knows the worth of his games. On one hand the crap stuff he's only factoring like $1-3 each for them which seems fair, but the rarer games? Watch out. $35 for secret of mana, $55 for Chrono Trigger, $50 for the SNES itself... that's pretty crazy. Generally they seem to be hovering just a little bit over ebay prices, which probably isn't the most terrible offense in the world, but it's still pretty silly. That's not really the worst of it though, check these out(and yes he itemizes the prices on all his listings):

Wireless PS3 controller that has 2 X buttons and 2 circle buttons. I got this controller when the very first PS3's came out so it doesnt the vibration feature. Which makes it very very Light. It is half the weight of the normal controller. I took the buttons from a PS1 controller and put them in this controller. Very unique. One of a kind. And functions perfectly. Contact (614)-558-****.

First, who the fuck would want a controller that won't work on pretty much everything. Since it's inception the playstation has always had 4 buttons on the face, that means that not even ps1 games will likely work on this as 99 percent of them need the triangle, and square buttons

Second, even if someone did want this, why in the hell would they pay more for this than what a new DS2 controller costs at the store

I may have made a wrong assumption

There are 2 ways this can be taken

1) It is a "real" mod and really has had the board modified to have 2 X buttons and 2 O buttons

2) It is just a change of the buttons from another controller and they are still the correct buttons

I assumed 1, however it is likely 2 and the person making the post is a retard thinking he can get 60 dollars for something like that.

The post says he moved the buttons over from a ps2 controller I believe, but it never says whether the extra buttons function as Square and triangle or the aformentioned Circle and X. The point is, your flame did nothing but make you look stupid. You read it one way I read it another. It is all about perception.

I don't know much about the Wii but I assume that those VC games cost money just like the disc-based games. Am I missing something?

I've got mixed feelings on this one. Sure, it's a phenomenal collection, and one that I might even be tempted to go after to fill the final holes in my PS1 collection, then turn around and sell the dupes to cover the cost.

BUT...the comment at the end just irks me. And let's be honest, while the list starts out so so strong, it quickly decends into very shitty, very worthless games. No lowballers, firm on the price, yet you need it gone asap? Yeah, I don't think so. I'll give you $500 for the bundle though LOL.

BTW, I took the time to calculate the value of that PS1 bundle via the prices on videogamepricecharts.com

Total I came up with, rounding up or down each game to the nearest dollar, was $1,641

Hardly a steal, and there are TONS of crappy games worth a buck or two a piece at best. I don't know...I might try to see if the guy is willing to break up the set. Since he's insisting on being FIRM FIRM FIRM, there would be no point to try to offer him $500 for the set and go from there. but there really aren't that many "OMFG WORTH OVER $50" games like he says there are. The two Tales of Destiny games, Valkyrie Profile "ultra rare" :roll: LOL, those are the only games worth over $50.

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for the Sega Genesis. Very Rare. In Great condition and works!!! One of my favorite games ever made for the Genesis.

Black label 1st edition Final Fantasy VII and VIII, both original VII is print number 63!! Also have PS1 memory! Game Informer lists Final Fantasy VII as one of rarest game available!! I love when people try to say the FFVII is "rare". It went GH, meaning it sold over a million copies. Meaning there are a million copies of the black label FFVII out there. They cost so much because people are willing to pay that much.

I have 2 10 inch subwoofers...1 kenwood and 1 bazooka I am looking to get repaired. I don't know if they can or not, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to find out if there was someone out here that might know if they can or not. I think they might be blown but I don't know. The kenwood is fairly new and a good speaker so I am hoping it is just a faulty wire.
