Never hurts to check as you have nothing to lose. I would definitely go check out what he has at the very least...you're not committed or obligated to buy anything. And if there is nothing worth buying and the guy is pressuring you, just tell him you have to think about it as well as hit the bank to get money, then just bail.

We have places around here that specialize in selling used DVDs, CDs, and video games, and the PS2s dropped down to I think $50 used, which means you'd probably get $20 for it... The Xbox is $40 used, and Gamecubes are like $40 I believe as well... So, I mean, unless you wanna deal with Ebay, and fees, and shipping, $35 is not that bad for a used PS2...

I agree, it's a little much to ask for more than the core system and game. However, I bought my 2nd Wii from Craigslist earlier this year with a ton of games and accessories for exactly that, $150. It was the guy's asking price.

I am selling a lvl 80 druid Horde, on the server Malorne. He is very very geared in 3 or the 4 specs, and fairly geared int eh last spec. He is an extremely geared tank, with close to 37k health unbuffed, 28k armor, 41% dodge. He is 3/5 t8.5 and 2/5 t7.5 in tank gear, but has full t7.5. he has need for a few more ulduar pieces, but is almost completely decked out for tanking pre 3.2 patch.

His boomkin/balance gear is also very very good, with 2100 spell power, 26% crit, and has 5/5 t7.5. i have done over 5k dps on fights such as patchwork in both 10 and 25 man nax. and i have also done 6.4k dps on a Sartharion zerg.

The Healing gear is also very good, for i have been able to heal 25 ulduar in it. I am not as familiar with the specific stats though.

The feral dps gear is the least geared of all, but is good enough for 25 man nax. Honestly the tank gear is good enough to do 25 man nax as feral dps.

This account also has many different alts. There is a 64 alt priest, on teh same server as the druid, as well as a 74 alt human mage, on korgath. There are many mid level alternates on various servers such as warsong, the venture co. and a couple other random servers that i never played on. The main server does not have a lot of gold, if any atm, but it is easily obtained.

Also the Druid has epic flying form, and an epic riding mount. It has the 10 man malygos key, and is exalted with all of the new factions in Wotlk.

I am asking for 600 dollars due to the amount of alts, and how geared the main character is! but I am willing to take the best offer! I want to be rid of wow for good, and this is the last step!

I'm new to gaming and the other day I bought a PSP and a new game. Unfortunately, the game wasn't to my taste, and exchaneges are frowned upon when dealing with opened items. I was hoping to find someone who would be willing to let me borrow their games so I can find a few that I like. That way, when I go back to buy one I'll know which ones are worth the money. If any of you have a PSP game collection that you would allow me to borrow for a day or so, you'd help me avoid making another expensive mistake.

Is it legit? I dunno... it's sketchy though. I'd imagine if they wanted to pirate games they would just directly download them, but who wants to go through all of this just so they can try a couple games for a day to see if there's something they might like? At least he's got some good collateral. I'm thinking of shooting off an email informing him of gamestop's used policy and downloadable demos on the PSP store to see if he's just not informed or if he's being sneaky.


This listing isn't really stupid, I just tend to get a chuckle out of "revenge posters"... and now with the news: craigslist poster #1334096948!

The PS3 has recieved a $100 price drop on both the 80gb and 160gb models. That makes the 80gb $300 and the 160gb $400. Shipping out August 25th is the PS3 SLIM. This model is 2/3 the size of the current PS3s and will come with a 120gb hard drive for only $300.

So to all Sellers-Stop selling your 80gb systems for over $300 because you can buy one NEW for that. Also with the new PS3 slim comming out soon selling a 80gb for $300 wont make much sence because you can buy a smaller, faster system with 40gb MORE space.

To Buyers-Don't get suckered into buying a system for more than it's worth. Do your homework on all the models before making a purchase.

People on here don't want to buy any kind of refurbished or used 360 because of the severe reliability issues, why would non-CAGs be any different. You never know if it really works, if they used the towel trick, if it has been hardware banned from LIVE, etc.

agreed, that is about what I would want to pay give the current pricing and known reliability issues.
 
Simple. Tell the person you won't buy it unless they hook it up to a tv and connect to xbox live and let it run for a little bit. But yeah even then you never know if it's a ringer or not. With the price of the arcade I don't really see a need to buy a used one unless it has a hard drive with it.
 
This thread is mainly about people putting items for sale on CL for an absurd price. What about responses you get when you post stuff for sale? Like people who are too stupid to actually read what your ad says? Or people who see your $75 ad and offer you $10? I had to put up with a literacy-challenged guy the last couple days who not only couldn't be bothered to read my ad, but doesn't even live anywhere near the area I have listed.

I also still have the e-mail/phone number of a no show from a few years back. Wondering if I should do something to him. :)

Oh my gosh... not only the fact they misspelled gecko but they don't even know what they are doing with those reptiles. They don't even lay eggs unless they mated in the first place, they aren't chickens.

During the Christmas holidays, I was trying to sell something on CL and an alleged lady from allegedly a city that's in the next county (and not close by) wanted me to hold it for her until she got paid, but she didn't give me a name and never replied to my response. I'm guessing he or she was selling the same thing on CL and hoping to get me out of the way.
