YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Picked up Wonderful 101 for $15.  I'm sure at some point it'll go cheaper if it hasn't already, but i'm happy with the purchase.

I can also confirm that percentages went up 10%.  They also seemed to have put out a few things I didn't see in the case before...like a ps3 Rocksmith bundle (guitar and bass version) at $60 with a green tag that I don't remember seeing before.

 
They had an aqua(?) 3ds yellow tagged that wasn't out last time I was there... Nobody has touched the Vita section so I think I'm gonna wait til next drop to get the games I want

Your store actually has Vita games? At my local tru I just see numerous copies of FIFA Soccer, and a lone copy Lumines and Lego Marvel.
 
Bought the Jak and Daxter Collection today for $9.99 (Green tagged 19.99).  Not an amazing deal but it was the last copy.  An employee also told me this sale goes until June so I would expect prices to drop 10% every 2 weeks or so.

This sale is dated until december 31, 2014. You'd be surprised at all the cool stuff that has been popping lately at TRU.

checked my local TRU last night, they have Blood Drive (ps3) and band hero game+kit? (ds) green tagged at 9.98.  are etiher of these worth picking up?

Also for anyone who might still be looking, my TRU has a crap load of the blue claptrap BL2 toys, like they ran out of shelf space for it and had to put all the remaining ones on another shelf two aisles apart from each other.  Personally, I'm not going to get one until the percentage goes up a little more.

Killzone Mercenaries for Vita was tagged $39.99 with white sticker yet scanned at $19.99 clearance today. Also picked up Spyhunter Vita for $9.99.

Yeah, if you scan any of the items on clearance on a price scanner it'll show "sale ends December 31"

Of course, if that actually is the case is another story.

 
Picked up Kid Icarus: Uprising. Lots of copies at my local TRU! Any other great 3DS deals I ought to know about?

 
Would it be possible that vita memory cards are on clearance too? I just realized that I wouldn't have enough for killzone's massive patches
 
Got lucky today, got the origonal Rocksmith with cord for the guitar for $8. Was green tagged at $30 but rang up as $60 - $30. I said "i thought it was 50% off the green tag" they agreed and the store manager price adjusted it to $15, then the 50% kicked in and the manager said f-it.
 
My TRU has Skyrim Legendary ed for the PS3 at $20 after 50% discount. A ton of games and have a lot of Kid Icarus at $20 too. a lot of games for the Wii U like Batman Arkham Armored Edition for $10. A lot of Nikon Coolpix cameras for $40 after 50% discount. Nothing else really stands out

 
I picked up Dead Space 3 LE for the PS3 on clearance for 10 (after 50% off).  There was enough in stock that I probably could have waited for another 10% drop though.

No...wasn't the guitar bundle. Was the standard game and cable bundle. Sorry for the confusion. I actually forget there even WAS a guitar bundle (if it was the guitar bundle, I totally would have grabbed it for $30).

 
Oh, and for anyone looking for the highest powered fourth Gen console, the WiiU basic system was 300 with a yellow tag.

Still not as good as Sears clearance though.
 
Impulse purchased Steel Diver at $5 today, Dark Souls at $10, and grabbed Skyrim LE PS3 for $20 as well. 360 version of Skyrim LE is not clearanced in case anyone was curious.
 
Does anybody know if the clearance items are nationwide or do they vary by store? And do the items have to be tagged in order for them to be on clearance or do they ring up under clearance price?
 
Snagged Wonderful 101 for $15, Dead Space 3 LE for $10, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection 360 for $15, and Zumba Core for the Mrs at $15.

Passed up Star Fox 64 3D at $15 because I already bought when it was $18. Only console tagged was 360 250GB w/Kinect for $399 and 40% off.

It was green tagged at both stores I visited. It needed an override, but with it being advertised in the ad as $29.99 they should override it since the clearance signs say "xx% off the lowest ticketed price"

It all seems nationwide but YMMV still in that some of the stuff won't still be carried at every store. Everything that's been reported that I've seen has been the same even if it wasn't tagged. Like Skyrim Legendary PS3 wasn't tagged but rang up $20.
 
I shouldn't grab Skyrim Legendary. It would consume me. Bethesda has my number; F3, New Vegas and Skyrim were an addiction.

don't do it unless you have the time (and no wife) i put over 100 hours in to Legendary and my wife was not happy

sooooo much content. the people that made titanfall and ground zeros should jump off a cliff
