YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Yep, green tag on it. It was really the only good deal I saw for anything in the case aside from what looked like about 6-8 copies of Kid Icarus.

 
I found a Vita NIB at a different store yesterday for $125. This was after I went to TRU to get some Frozen toys for the daughter and saw the large amount of $15 Vita games. Think I will go back and get several of them (Rayman Origins and UMvC3 for sure).
 
Somebody mentioned here they used an app to check the prices of stuff at Toy's R Us, anybody know what app it is? The price app I have only compares prices online, it can't check a price in-store.  :(

 
Call of Duty Ghosts for Wii U didn't scan as part of the green tag clearance. None of them were labeled as such, but I figured, maybe they had missed it, etc. Asked an employee to scan... rang up for $29.99   :(

the prices are off the msrp which for ghost is 59.99 green tag would make it $29.99 which is what you said it rung up which is correct price

CoD: Ghosts ( :360: / :ps3: / :wiiu:) was $29.99 on sale at TRU last week in the weekly ad. When I visited my TRU on Saturday, I saw the green tag underneath the $29.99 sale price tag. I asked the employee if he could override the price for two copies down to $15 each since the color-tag clearance display prominently says that the tag discounts apply to the "lowest-ticketed price", and it was ticketed at $29.99. He called a manager over who had no problems bringing the price down to $15 per copy.

So you might be out of luck, unfortunately. :cry:

Just dropping in to say thanks to everyone for reporting in.  There's so much unmarked stuff at one of my stores that's ringing up correctly that I'm just appreciative.  Will check on those xbl cards next time I'm over there.

Edit: Did TRU carry those day one xbl $20 cards too (with shadow jago)?

El Hoardo and/or  Toys R Us employees took over Manchester, CT TRU. Everything was pretty much gone despite those wonderful 101's not tagged correctly. I didn't check the day one cards though, good deal.

There were still 5 copies of Kid Icarus Uprising in the display case at the TRU on Loucks Rd in York, PA as of Saturday. Also noticed they had Skylanders Spyro's Adventure on blue clearance.

I never seen them tagged before either and I been to 5 different stores since they upped the percentage few days ago. did the person who posted it actually buy it or just see the tag? cause if they only seen the tag it possible they were just placed in the wrong spot

They came up 59.99 when scanned do you have a pic of the actual card you got? These cards were not marked with a blue tag.

it could be a special markdown at that store then cause some stores have some stuff marked down then go to another store 20 minutes away and the same item ring up a lot higher. cause not all the markdowns are going to be the same store wise so I would say it probably targeted at your specific store location

 
I thought we already established that everything was nationwide.

Mentioned this above - these rang up with no discount. If they enter the sku it rings up at $24

Seriously.. the very first thing that should have been mentioned in regards to the Day One XBL "deal" was that it required an override. Nice find but I know my areas well enough that I won't be able to get in on this. Glad it was brought up before I left the house.

Alright guys I need some help, did they ever fix the PS3 release of Read Dead Redemption (frame rate/resolution issues)? I picked up the GOTY edition for $14.99, but I think they had the 360 release as well. Should I have gotten that one instead?

you will be fine with the PS3 version i got the plat last year on the GOTY edition and experienced no issues at all. All patches are on disc so just put the disc in and go.
