YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Don't forget that Skyrim DLC is all 75% off as part of the Xbox live sales this week--comes out to about $12 for all 3. You can also buy a $15 XBL card and use the rebate here to get $5 back, which makes the deal even better--this seems to be working reasonably well for people:

Just finished scouring their website and I found absolutely nothing regarding a price adjustment policy, so they really shouldn't be denying anyone tomorrow. I'm not going to be a douche and bring them all of the stuff I bought, just the higher priced ones (about 5 titles). :)

if you taking about the email from toys r us as part the usual emails they send out it says up to 60% but then look at the bottom it shows green as 50% which is games it hasn't changed yet
 
So you are all saying wait till tomorrow to go to ToysRUs to get clearance items in general (all colors are jumping 10%) or just wait till tomorrow because green tag is turning blue (50% to 60%)?

I'll still probably stop there scope what has changed in the last few weeks. Nothing good last time.

I'm new to TRU clearance hunting, but my store (San Jose, CA) had both Green and Blue tags as 60% today. I went for Vita games but didn't have luck like some others here (only had like 3 clearanced Vita games). There were plenty of other games still available but nothing that hasn't already been mentioned. Going to go check out my other local store... Wish I discovered this thread sooner!
 
One time thing from me. To save everyone the trouble of looking. I was asked to check a few locations for these so I thought I would grab them all.  I will ignore requests to look for any other items.

Stores that have clearance tagged Vitas and 3DS.  Inventory is as of this morning. Sales could have happened during the day. You will have to check/call the store to verify. Inventory numbers could also be off and they might not have anything even though the system shows it.

Does anyone know if white tagged Vita games (or any games in general) can also be a part of the clearance? The only Vita game I want that I saw at two of the TRU I went to was Sly Cooper but it was white tagged...didn't even think about checking the price. I read that Spy Hunter was clearanced even though at my TRUs they had white tags still.
Also, can anyone recommend Hot Shots Vita? Wouldn't mind picking that up for

I sometimes stop by the Waterbury store after work. I haven't really been following this thread too closely, but I was hoping to grab a Wii game or two from this sale. I may try to visit next week and see if anything is left at that point.

I haven't noticed any gems on clearance for me just yet, but their pre-owned selection has definitely gotten much better.

I might pick up AC3 for wii u if it gets super cheap just to have in the AC collection. I just can't get myself to buy kid icarus... I've watched a friend play it once and it just absolutely destroys your 3DS screen or screen protector. The controls are nuts.

Definitely. I'm kind of curious where they've been getting them from though. Do they still have a trade in program?

Oh, and remember that GS has a B2G1 sale on $20 and under games this weekend. (now through the 20th)

Some of the green tag games may be cheaper that way if you are getting 3 or more.

 
I called into the toys rus in my town that I wouldn't say is ghetto but it used to be across the street from a shopping mall, now the mall is just one giant scooby doo episode waiting to happen. Anyways like always they have way more clearance copies of games than anyone else in the state, they had so many copies of kid iccarus they told me they would not put it on hold for me because there was no point lol I asked about skyrim and they tell me it is Not on green/clearance, soo any suggestions how I can get it for

Yeah go in store and have them actually scan it instead of being lazy and reading the tag

Skyrim Legendary for PS3 definitely is on green clearance. Not sure for 360.

Ha, sounds like my TRU (Asheville, NC). The TRU itself looks like a remnant of Soviet Russia while the mall across the street is eerily vacant at all times of the year.
