YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Picked up Wonderful 101 for $12 + tax today, it also wasn't marked but I had a sales associate scan it and it was indeed 60% off.  This was in Garden City, New York

Well, I went to another TRU and got Star Fox 64 3D and Jak and Daxter Vita for $12 a piece. Looked like every Vita game this TRU had was on green clearance. If only they had MvC3.
 
Tekken hybrid/blood vengeance is 8$, Medal of Honor warfighter limited edition 8$, mass effect wii u 8$. Just a few things no one else posted. They also had some decently priced pre owned games like gears of war judgment 17.99 bio shock infinite 17.99 assasins creed 3 12.99, crisis 3 12.99. Almost caved on Tekken but I have tty 2 on wii u for when I get a wii u and I have SxTekken for ps3 lol

isn't the Vita version of Ultimate MvC3 infinitely easier to find then the console versions? I think just about every retailer I've been to has a copy or copies.. and yes I know the whole backstory behind why people are buying them.

 
I caved and bought wonderful 101 even though I have no wii u. Into the backlog lol. Skyrim scanned as 40 but checked out as 16$! And they had kid iccarus original run edition for 16$. They had dead space 3 but I already anticipate it for my bday from a friend.

Went to a TRU a little out of the way today and picked up two udraw games, Pictionary and Marvel. They were $2.79 and $4 respectively. Got the udraw tablet bundle with Instant Artist for less than $2 from the big lots clearance, so for $10 with all three games isn't too shabby.

How does a game scan for something different than the check out price?
 
It first scans at full price and then totals at the clearance price. If you look at the screen on the credit card reader it would say the game name and full price then a few seconds later it says Promo with the clearance price.

This is true, but also true is the fact that the employee's hand held price check scanner said it was full price, but I felt it worth it to try checking out and see what it came up as. Got the only copy they had left. I am so happy, 1 less Black Friday item to worry about this year, and I probably got it $4 cheaper than Black Friday price lol

Saw two copies of Kirby's Return to Dreamland tonight. They weren't tagged for clearance but I know they are out of print and are becoming harder to find new. I passed on them, should I go back?
 
Were they 50 bucks? They are going for 68 on amazon right now, so if u buy both with the 40% promo, it be 80 bucks plus tax? I would be conflicted

My nearby TRU's are run-dry on almost anything good. And I don't know why people are buying them. I've just been interested in playing it for a while, but never got around to it.

I'll try this with Star Fox this morning when I go back, they had 2 left which I hope are still there since they aren't marked for clearance. Couldn't hurt to try. I had thought these prices were universal per title.

Other than the XBL cards that were tagged at one store I believe everything has been.

 
Local Vita selection got picked out so I walked out with nothing except my pm'd Peter Pan bluray and :360: Victorious for like $3 for my daughters

Added to the Kid Icarus I got yesterday, and I think I'm done................for today.

Green tags are 60% now, so all those orig. $29.99 should be $11.99. Jak and Daxter Vita is also $11.99.

 
My tru (Dartmouth, MA) has the PlayStation Move Eyepet and PlayStation Move Heroes bundles for $31.99 ( blue, originally, $79.99)
 
I just picked up Epic Mickey 2 on the Wii U for the kid for $10.  I bought myself about $500 worth of Warcraft Megabloks (they suck) for $130.  All in all a worthwhile TRU run.

 
Wondering if it's worth going back to get a price adjustment just for the greens on my list.. Just went back when the blues went up along with the others. Might just wait till blue goes up to 70%.
