YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Picked up Wonderful 101 for $12. I don't even have a Wii-U yet, but I have a pro-controller I picked up for $8 last year (store specific Best Buy clearance), and now Wonderful 101 for $12.  :D/

They had 3 copies. Anyone think this game might be one of those that makes a good "investment"? Should I grab the other two? I rarely do that. I just think this might be one of those games could still be worth $50 or even $100 in a few years time if it doesn't get reprinted. 

edit:... and I guess I could have gotten them B1G1 40%? So I could have gotten two copies for $19? I probably should have at least done that....I just got the 1 game and walked out.

it won't be that rare every retailer has it and hell even meijers has it marked to $19.99 and they still have it in stock

Clearance doesnt stack with any of other offers, including the B1G1, so you did just fine walking out with one.

You can not do the B1G1 40% on clearance items...

 
Just FYI on price adjustments, I was shot down on doing a second price adjustment on a previously price adjusted purchase.  I was told the system wouldn't allow it.

In stock now, I'm talking in 2 or 3 years.

My understanding is it sold horribly, so it's a game that might never be repressed or part of any "Nintendo selects" line. Think of something like Metroid Prime Trilogy, or Xenoblade. Sometimes you don't know it's rare, until after it's OOP and all of a sudden people start looking for it. (I lucked out in having a 2nd sealed copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy when it peaked out... and I believe I actually got that from Toys-R-Us for $19.99).

Of course I realize just because it is niche and on a Nintendo platform doesn't mean it would be worth a 2nd or 3rd copy. It could be more Madworld (coincidentally another Platinum games title) than Xenoblade.

I guess I'll just hang onto the one copy. I bought that assuming I'm going to get a Wii-U eventually. No sense in buying 2 or 3 copies when I don't even have the system itself yet.

You got fed a line, I did it Thursday morning with Kid Icarus with no issues. Or just tell them you want to return and rebuy, but then of course you'd have to have the sealed item with you.

A Link Between World was either a joke post or somehow YMMV. I checked the UPC and it was full price (as opposed to other games that do show the clearance price on the price check machine). Wasn't a wasted trip though since I picked up Wonderful 101 for $12 which I was hoping to get for $15 last week never expecting it to go from 50% to 60% in 1 week. Even if I went out of my way to check it's no big deal since I live 3 minutes away from my local TRU and drive past it every day on the way home from work.

since they said they seen it but didn't actually say they bought it I would guess that they seen the game above a tag that was meant for probably a game behind it or beside it. They probably didn't actually look at the title on the tag itself

I bought my son a Net10 Android (2.3) phone (ZTE Merit) for $12 on green tag. Works great as a wi-fi Google Play device and has a better camera than MY phone! (5mp with auto-focus). It's a steal for little more than an action figure.

That's actually a sweet deal. I saw some net10 phones tonight, but I don't think any were android. Wish they listed the phones on their site so I could double check, though. I'd totally grab one for $12...even if just to leave in the car as a player for apps like music unlimited.

Added Resident Evil 3DS for $8 and Professor Layton Miracle Mask 3DS for $16 this morning. That list shows Layton as $29.99 retail but it rang up $39.99 for me. Still a great deal.

I kinda figured since it was the same person who did the original price adjust less than a week ago and she immediately told me that once I brought out the items. One of the items, they still had in stock so I bought it again at the lower clearance price so I can return the original one. The other was the last one they had when I bought it the first time. Don't know how much luck I'll have trying to get that one price adjusted a second time since it's always the same people working the CS desk...
