YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

They also had 15+ PokePark 2 for $20.00 ($49.99). Like the :ds: games I mentioned above, I'm waiting for another drop.

 
Alright, alright, alright.... picked up a few untagged games today.

Went back for that Resident Evil Revelations PS3 that was untagged and it was still there.  Also grabbed Remember Me PS3 and two Star Fox 64 3D's for trading.  No signs of Ultimate MvC3 Vita at any of the stores.

Still looking for a copy of Kid Icarus, Lollipop Chainsaw PS3 and DMC PS3.  Not sure I'm going to find them at this point.

 
Avoid the Barry Road store in Kansas City. The store was a mess and their team did a horrible job marking what is on clearance. I saw dozens of items that were on clearance at the other stores unmarked or improperly priced. Ran a few items under the price checker just to confirm and they showed up at the clearance price. The teenager running electronics seemed completely oblivious when I pointed that out to him.

Well that would seem like a good store to hit then since "regular people" would be less likely to have grabbed stuff.

 
Citrus Heights CA still had Zone of the Enders HD, ICO Collection, and Castlevania Lord of Shadow 2 (all $13 tax included) and Sykrim ($9) for PS3 when I checked today. Was hoping to find a copy of Wonderful 101 but they were all out.

Reporting finds, the 6 MGS HD Collections of 360 at my TRU were quickly sniped. I suspect the mythical "El Hoardo" to be responsible. Nothing else piqued my interest. Sigh.

Nope it was the second for PS3 and after reading your reactions I didn't realize the game had been out for only a couple of months. Now I kind of regret not picking up a copy as some kind of trade bait.

You are the first person to mention it being on green clearance and NONE of the stores I've been to had it tagged on sale. Unless it was an error somehow, I can't believe nobody else caught it! I'll wait for a 2nd person to confirm the price before I leave my family on Easter to go grab a copy!

I'm skeptical since I saw the first one marked clearance, but the second one definitely wasn't. It sounds like someone mistagged the item.

 
Returned my P11 headset after finding the Official Playstation Wireless PS3 ones for the same price.  All set for some Borderlands 2 GOTY coop as soon as I get my backordered copy from Amazon now!

Don't know if its been said but I saw a kyros mid 9740 9.7 inch android tablet green sticker at $204 makes it 81.60 plus tax for anyone in the market for a tablet.

I had heard BB was closed, so I wasn't sure about TRU, but I just called my closest one and the recording says open until 7. I'm shocked Target is closed, considering I worked there 6+ years and know how they can be. Needed some groceries too. :(
 
Picked up ICO and Jak for my PS3 (though sadly I have these on my PS2 but I think HD has spoiled me so figured I'd never play them unless they we're in HD) ... wanted to get Ducktales but this is not on clearance at my TRU. Had cashier ring it up and it came out 19.99.

total including tax $44... not too bad I guess.  Was Hoping to find RE: Revelations but these seem hard to come by.   Duck Tales also rang up $19.99 at my store as another poster point out a few posts back... and Castlevania LOS 2 was still marked at full price in the case while other green games were clearly tagged.  Wondering if that was a mess up in that particular store.

I had the clerk scan a copy of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 but it came up at $59.99. Oh well!

 

 
Girlfriend managed to snag a yellow-tagged Madden '13 Vita bundle today, $150$ after tax! So if you're in the market for a vita, look for those older bundles, amazing price for the old OLED model before the slims hit next month. Also, I picked up a Level Up game tower+headset rack for $13 after blue sticker clearance, another really great buy since they usually retail for $30 at gamestop. Overall pretty happy with their clearance sale, even though their game selection was lame.

The Madden Vita bundle is a nice buy! I have one on hold for in-store purchase tomorrow morning. Would have gone today but wasn't going to leave a holiday family get-together to go to TRU. I called them late Saturday evening and they are holding it until 12:00 noon tomorrow.

 
Update to the Lord of Shadow 2 post. I went in again today after my sister's boyfriend decided he wanted to check out the sale. It was a mis labeling and they fixed it after we asked. Did manage to get the last copy of PS3 Dead Space 3 and the ICO collection for $8 and tax each.

I picked up the Ico/SotC game this weekend. Never played them but interested and for $8 the price is right to add them to the backlog.

As for the older PS Vitas, I'm interested in possibly picking one up if I find it on clearance. Are the OLED models better than the slim? I really do not care too much about about the smaller form factor of the slim. Why should I chose one over the other outside of price?

The only positive i can think for the new vitas is its a micro usb charger. So you could have one cord to charge your phone and vita. I really like the OLED so im gonna stick with my white Vita. The 1gb internal isnt that great unless you really are gonna be casual and just use it for save data i guess.
 
The other positive would be a slightly better battery but I still think the OLED is better. I'm very happy with mine. I did finally get to use a Slim at Pax East last weekend and it just seems incredibly thin, which is nice, but for someone who is 6'4 with huge hands, I perfer the fatter original.

the color and picture quality is a lot better with the oled vs the slim also.

 
Anyone near the North Baltimore, MD TRU (the one on Pulaski), there were 3 Kid Icarus' and 2 Star Foxes.  I'm sure there was plenty else in that store.  I was on a different hunt at the time.

 
Splinter Cell Blacklist Wii U green stickered at $39.99 and was $16.96 out the door. I have the 360 version but haven't touched it yet...I heard the gamepad is better for single player.
 
Also saw Jeopardy for Wii U greened at $25 but it looks like it has been wimpified and is multiple choice( !?). Makes it easier to pass at what would have been $10.

First experience at the first store in tustin. I ask to do price checks on skyrim and a copy of resident racoon city that I thought was revelations. First she proceeds to get the copy of skyrim (she proceeds to grab the first copy with the crappier sleeve) then I ask for resident evil hoping it was revelations. at this point she was already bothered cause you know it's such a hassle to grab another game that's inches away. I see it was racoon city, then I tell her i'll pass. At this point shes already bothered. Then I ask if she knew if the gps unit was marked down to 40 since it has a green sticker. She proceeds to tell me she doesn't know what im pointing at. I hate carrying cash so I figured I'd do a split transaction. Right away she tries to sell me credit, as if I didn't have enough money to pay for everything at once. Can't believe she had the audacity to try to get me a credit card after her attitude. I was wishing the nicer lady that was covering her break would have wrong me up. Went to store number two where the associate was friendlier but thought it be who of her to make me wait 15 minutes on 2 separate occassions while she kept stocking xboxes and go backs. I can relate to these workers since they're under payed having worked in retail and all but this is not the right way to treat people. No wonder no one walks into toys r us! Overall I was pretty satisfied with my haul just dissapointed with the associates. It's not like I was asking them to do something unreasonable or time consuming such as calling multiple stores etc. lol

it was at that irvine outdoor mall bro on jamboree road. it's a big box right? I believe it was regular price $40 but it had a green sticker. it was at in one of those racks at the front. They only had one copy.
