YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Went to my toys r us to look at 360 games. There were about 4 games in the main case on clearance. Bummed. But then as I was walking away, I saw the rest of them. There were in one of those upright four-sided racks just outside of the electronics section. So be aware that not all clearance games will be together.

By the way, for the five people who own a wiiu, almost every accessory was marked as clearance.

If ducktales has a pin included it is indeed a digital copy only. The only physical copy that also has a pin was the wii u version and was exclusive to target.
 
Picked up W101 yesterday. It wasn't on the shelf but there were plenty behind the cash register, and rang up clearance despite not being marked.

I read one person had picked up MiracleMask for $12, Cerritos had it marked for $39.99. Anybody else have it at their store for $29.99?

 
 
Checked my local TRU today for the first time in this clearance event. Some decent stuff but didn't buy anything yet. Was hoping to pick up a few 3DS titles that I need but didn't see any. Did see a few copies of Wonderful 101 and some pretty good 360/PS3 games.

Might check another location, I want Professor Layton.

It was $39.99 originally at mine too. I think the $29.99 was a typo or ymmv mistake.
 
picked up a copy of metal gear solid HD collection for the xbox 360 for $12 last night, pretty good deal

i want to find star fox 64 3DS or kid icarus

 
Probably long gone at most TRU's but I found a Golden Sun: Dark Dawn for DS mixed in with the shovelware bins and it rang up at Green Tag clearance price for $1.99 - down from $4.98.

 
Picked up an extra copy of Star Fox 3DS for trade. Rang up as $12 so I don't believe there's an increase in the sale percentage yet.

I also found a copy of Super Princess Peach DS in the front bin but it rang up as $34.99 so I didn't take it. How difficult is this to find new? Hard to believe an 8 year old game is still selling for MSRP but if it's really that rare I may go back and pick it up.

 
Sorry to be That Guy, but I've come up dry at 4 different TRUs now--so if anybody sees a 3DS for cheap and would be willing to do a fellow CAG a solid, I would happily pay what you paid + shipping + whatever you think is fair for your trouble.

Thanks. My store didn't have any price on display or green tag. Still a good price, but I will try to get adjusted once the new discount takes effect.

Picked up the last copy of Kid Icarus Uprising ($16) and a copy of Crosswords Plus ($8) at the Upland, CA store.

They also had one big boxed 3DS available, in pink, I didn't price it though. It was mixed in with the slim boxed 3DSs and wasn't tagged, as far as i could see.

I also picked up Mass Effect 3 ($8) and Splinter Cell Blacklist ($16) for the Wii U. 

At the West Covina store, I did pick up Resident Evil: Revelations ($20) for the Wii U.

Each store was out of Wonderful 101, but was stocked with most of the other Wii U titles from what I can remember.

Each is out of stock of SF64, KIU, PLMM, RE:R and KHDDD, all of which I specifically searched for.

On a side note, because some had been looking for it, each store had a couple of copies of Game and Wario ($30) for the Wii U.

No. That seemed to be the last copy. None of their 3DS section, nor the majority of games had any green tags. The only other 3DS title that should have a green tag was Crosswords Plus. All the good 3DS games are gone.

They do have a lot of speakers and Wii U accessories in stock.

 
As of last night the North Olmsted TRU had two Star Foxes left.

I picked up a kinectimals bear, but didn't see anything else I wanted.

Do we have any idea which color the tags are on those? None of those locations are in my state, but a few are hypothetically roadtrippable.

Edit: Though those numbers are probably well out of date. Hrm.

Picked up the last copy of Zone of the Enders, but even that felt like I was just doing it so I wouldn't walk out of the store empty handed

What headset? The Sony wireless one? If so that's definitely national but I only saw it at one of four stores. It's an older item that they likely were out of at most stores before this even started.

Went to two stores and was let down.  I almost bought Mass Effect 3 for Wii U, but I've already beat it on PC and I realized if I did want to do another play through it would be from Mass Effect 1.  Other than that, most prices were basically what Amazon has had for a while.

 
I walked out today with a set of exclusive Bravely Default AR cards that a Nintendo rep gave to a TRU employee who then gave it to me. I'd spend time talking to the TRU employee about gaming and he said, "here, why don't you take this, I think I have this already"

Is Transformers War for Cybertron worth it at $24?  It's green tagged at $59.99.

Been wanting to pick it up for a decent price but I haven't seen it for less than $20 used.

I found one out of 4 stores in Southern Florida and picked it up. Waiting on my Amazon Borderlands 2 GOTY to arrive to even open it up.

It's $20 used at Gamestop. With pur and a birthday coupon you can get it for like $12.XX. I know it's been cheaper than $20 through gamefly...unless you have to have new or you mean FALL of Cybertron I would not drop $24 on it. I'm not sure I'd drop $24 for Fall, either. That ones been cheaper too.

I would be surprised if the percentages changed again. All my local stores have several big signs hanging from the ceiling showing the percentages and I bet it's a pain to change them out. :)
