I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Disagree with your disagreement. As an adult male, the 3ds is for ants. For a child it may be fine, but no adult can comfortable use it.
Maybe it's because I'm an adult female, but I have no issues with the 3ds, I think I would have a hard time with the xl.

I think it is based on your hand size. I have smaller hands for an adult male so the 3DS is perfect for me but my friend gets hand cramps when he tries to play my 3DS.

Small hands => 3DS

Large hands => XL

The only time I have issues getting the XL to fit in my back pocket is when the wife makes decides that my tight jeans look better.  Otherwise, I never have an issue.  My wife LOVES her XL and so does my 7 year old.  They both hated their old pink 3DS.

My sons prefer the XL, 5 and 10.  I would have actually preferred to get the 5 year old a 2DS had it been out at the time (neither of them mess with the 3D at all though), but he has no trouble holding the XL for extended periods (at least as long as we let him play Animal Crossing at a time).  I just would have preferred it without the hinge, he is found of opening and closing it more than necessary and I have a feeling it will eventually wear out.

But, at this point, there is no going back to a smaller screen for him.  We have to retain parity between the brothers or there will be arguments.

It's just like the old saying goes. You know what they say about a man with extra large hands? He usually has an extra large 3ds.

The buyer sent me pictures, but the story is questionable as the box she displays in the pic has a tear and the box I sent did not. I like the send it back to me and then sit on it, but not sure how I could extend that to 45 days. This is the 2nd issue I had in recent weeks. I had some guy who tried to rip me off for a COD code actually threaten me, leave abusive feedback and even when I proved he had redeemed the code due to the fact his ebay id and xbox live id were the same, ebay refused to remove the negative feedback. I really need to switch over to amazon.
This kind of thing is exactly why selling digital codes on ebay makes me nervous. I got a bit of the a scare with the Wind Waker HD, though. The guy said the code wasn't redeeming, and it turns out I had mistyped a letter. >_<

As for the headset, did you take pictures of the headset box before you shipped it? It seems to me that's the best way to prove a switcheroo took place.

I have large hands and they cramp terrible playing the XL and never cramp playing the 2DS. I love the way the 2DS fits in my hands. I own 3DS XL, 3DS and the 2DS and the 2DS gets 99% of my time. I do like the bigger screen on the XL just hate my hands cramp terrible playing it long periods is all...

Amazon isn't entirely clean, either. I don't know what it is with selling this TRU clearance stuff, but I had someone contact me about an XBL Gold Starter Kit (bought for $30) I sold and shipped to them, claiming that the headset was missing a piece and the codes (1-year Gold and 400 MSP) didn't work. I had them send images of all of these then contacted a Microsoft rep to verify when the 400 MSP code was redeemed (the image for the 1-year Gold code was too blurry), and the rep told me the code hadn't been redeemed yet. Needless to say, I was a bit...ticked. :headache:

I contacted the seller, pointing out that the code was still valid and asking them to try redeeming it again. This was nearly 2 weeks ago, and I haven't heard anything since. I assume (and hope) they got scared and backed off.

I'm sending out a GTA V CE Code today and I'm nervous. How do you contact MS to verify a code was used ?

I can't recall the exact spot, but I started at xbox.com, navigated to Support, and found a link to start a Chat regarding miscellaneous topics. As long as you have the code available, the rep can check if/when it was used.

So some lady went into my TRU and bought every single 3DS, and almost ever somewhat decent 3ds game and wii game. Her check out total was over 12,000$. Good ol ebay bitches.

I didn't know those power sellers operating on that $1 margins got their stock from TRU.

Geez... most of the stuff there isnt worth the time it would take to list on ebay... ridiculous

I'm wondering about that too. Most TRU stores I have been to since this clearance started have a majority of games that aren't worth anything. Even if they made it to 80% off a lot of the junky games probably have no resale value like that Bakugan Wii game or Steel Diver.

I stopped by a Toys R' Us the other day and grabbed a copy of Sin and Punishment on the Wii for about $4.50. I was hoping there would be other decent Wii games on Clearance but I didn't really see much there.

Is this an employee story? Was this the tru with like 100 clearance 3dses?
I always hear or see of people doing things like this... way back to the $5 Circuit city sale years ago... and they are not shy about it on ebay either, they will put pics of piles of games, each with the stores price stickers on them... Ive only purchased games from this particular sale for my own, save for a copy of chocolatier bought for my wife who had it on her iPad, so its being sold on ebay as I have misplaced the receipt...

If I ever see a potential bonanza at a store and look to cut the cost of my own haul (because I am out for myself first in these sales)... I never clean a store out of anything... I remember a memorable trip one night after work to a CC store an hour away that had TONS of items $1, $2, $3 and up tiered pricing on clearance... none was marked down so no body had bought any of it... walked out that night with two huge bags full of gaming goodies... and there was tons left over. That was so fun, the days of ten page long price lists printed out and taking hours to search through everything.

Thinking of going to my local toys r us tonight and seeing if they have Wonderful 101, if not I'll be happy with some good baby clearanced toys

The only store that had more then a handful of 3ds systems in stock clearanced was in anchorage, Alaska which had close to 100 in stock few weeks ago. So unless a reseller actually drove that far just for no profit to buy them up then that story either happened in Alaska who didn't happen at all. All the other stores had less then 6 in stock and that was weeks ago

And if you don't have pictures, and it's your word against his in any paypal/ebay dispute, I would document that you have a receipt showing you recently purchased the headset, that you (presumably) have a long ebay history with good feedback and the buyer (presumably) has a short history with little to no feedback. So why would you scam someone like they claim.

I uploaded the receipt, so I'm covered there. The buyer got real cagey when I suggested she package it up and return it to me. She was like it useless... I pointed out that I wanted to return it to TRU as clearly she must be telling the truth and I know I am. Now she's trying to make out I must have known it had been replaced because the box was so damaged. SMH

So I decided to request she return it and I'm think I may not be available to receive it when it arrives.

It's funny you mention the feedback thing as I recently got 2 negatives after over a year of all good. 1st guy was the scammer and I still can't believe that eBay won't remove the feedback, and the other item was a mistake I made by sending out an empty case. A stupid mistake on my part that I fixed the next day. The idiot buyer jumped the gun and left bad feedback, and then when he realized his mistake wanted to revise the feedback then unbeknownst to me went away for 2 weeks and the revision request expired. And eBay does not allow a 2nd request. I have a feeling this buyer saw those 2 bad marks and figured I was an easy target.

Has anyone been to the Bethel Park PA store recently?
I was there today...

Had a handful of various PS3 systems yellow-tagged. The PS3 Move Bundle ($349 before Yellow Tag 'YT,') a 2012 Holiday Bundle ($299 before YT,) and two other game w/ system bundles (each $299 before YT...one was bundled with Uncharted 3, the other two had Assassin's Creed 3 bundled if I remember correctly.)

As for games...all were the standard fare that were already reported. A few Star Fox 64 3DS games, a handful of ICO/SOTC copies, and so on.

I grabbed the last copy of Star Successor (I believe was the name of it) for the Wii for $4, a copy of Wonderful 101 for $12ish, and a 64 Gigabit standard sized memory card for ~ $18.

Still a fairly decent selection of games if you a player, but the more desirable titles...not so much if you are looking to flip / make a buck.

Hope this info helps

It was the Pensacola store with 47. She bought all of those, and like 60 COD ghosts for WII U... and obviously others.
Wtf, 47 old ass regular 3DSes? How much each were they? Can't imagine making much off flipping them until they hit at least 60% or more off.

I doubt any consoles are left on clearance in SoCal, if they were to begin with. Sounds like nothing but 2+ year old systems that were long gone around here.

It might be for donation purposes. When I worked at TRU a woman came in and filled up 4 grocery carts all with items she was donating. Pretty awesome lady lol

Some of the older, original 3DS consoles are worth money to the right person---especially the flame red and aqua blue units which were phased out completely (color scheme is no longer produced).

If I had my guess, she was probably stocking up for Flea Market sales.  With EBay it would be tough to turn a decent profit to justify that kind of investment, given shipping and fees.  But, if she sells at Flea Markets (given it is Florida, and they are all over the place in the southeast) she can mark them a little bit below normal retail, add in "tax" (in quotes because that money will likely never reach state coffers) and move them like hotcakes.  Country folk down in this area of the country LOVE the illusion they are saving money, even if it is only a few dollars out of the back of a van that is going to be long gone by the time you figure out it doesn't work.  It makes them feel like they are getting one over on the system.

What is blue worth buying? Not that anything remains, I believe.
The best stuff's probably gone but the blue highlights off the top of my head are the original Sony Wireless Headset, 12 month XBL starter kit (think that was blue not green), 360 essentials pack (3 month live, controller, HDMI and remote), and some DS games with a figure.
