YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Was in Orlando today and stopped in of course. Found Rayman Origins Vita and 9 more of the $3 skylanders giants stackable display shelves. Those things really look good. Finally have my son's pile of Skylanders cleaned up a bit now.

Picked these up today at the Grossmont (San Diego) Toys R Us.  Some games do not have the clearance sticker, so I went off of the list posted in OP and asked them to scan the games to make sure they're on clearance.

Original Prices are in parentheses.

Sony PS3

  • Remember Me - $6 ($19.99)
  • Zone of the Enders HD Collection - $9 ($29.99)
Nintendo Wii U

  • Nintendo Land - $9 ($29.99)
  • Epic Mickey 2 - $9 ($29.99)
  • Mass Effect 3 Special Edition - $6 ($19.99)
  • Assassin's Creed 3 - $6 ($19.99)
Xbox 360

Today I bought zone of Enders 360 for $9. Remember Me 360 for $6, the bigger $39.99 tomb raider statue for $12, and the Comic Con a fans hope dvd for $4.50. The dvd comes with little figures of that Morgan spurlock guy.

How YMMV is this now? More of a stock thing or is it still YMMV on it even happening at your Toys R Us?
Been nationwide from the start. Was really just a matter of what your store had in stock.

Probably more YMMV now that stores are so picked over.

Wish I could find Wonderful 101 and Nintendoland, might see about ordering instore or whatever and return/rebuy. I picked up Dishonored for $4 something.

If you haven't opened Dark Souls and you have Xbox Live, it's free in June.

Yea, that Tomb Raider statue was $39.99 with the green sticker

For those that are interested.

Well, I've gotten all the good stuff I could from the nearby stores, and managed to successfully get adjustments on all of it up to 70% off, despite some receipts being from quite a while ago, so I think I'm pretty done partaking in this deal at this point. It was a good one.

Overall, I got:

Kid Icarus
Wonderful 101
DmC
Dishonored
Zone of Enders
Dead or Alive 5
King of Fighters XIII
and a really cool pink Yoshi statue that's standing proudly next to my TV

Picked up a Ducktales with pin the other day. (PS3)  Now to decide whether opening it is worth it, or to hold onto it in case the value goes up.

I picked up The Sims 3 plus pets for $3 at a toys r us in Austin as well as 2 expansion packs for $3 each. There were zero wonderful 101 or Nintendoland.

Bingo!

I said YMMV due to the selection of games left.

Such as my store was nothing like my hometown store which is 3x bigger and has a much broader selection.

I have good news and bad news about this sale. Last night I went into the Emeryville store, and a bunch of Skylanders Giants and Skylanders Spyro figures had green clearance tags. Including the starter sets. So, if you are missing figures, or want to give the 3DS versions a try. This is a good time to pick them up. I got Scarlet Ninjini for $4 dollars. The Giants figures normally ring up at $16.99. The regular giants like Hot Head were still the normal price. So YMMV on which ones work. Since some figures rang up as green tag clearance without having green tags on them. Now the bad news. This sale seems to be ending on May 27th. There were signs placed above the bins in the games section saying "Hurry, clearance blast sale ends May 27th!" I asked the employees, as I had heard that this was supposed to go until the end of the year. The manager said that it ends on the 27th, and the final day (at least for their store) every different colored price tag would go up to 70% off. I also have an app on my phone called Zoomingo that tracks retail ads and sales. The clearance blast sale is also listed on there as ending May 27th. If you haven't gone to this sale yet, your time seems to be running out.

There's a PSP 3000 at the local store.  If this hits 70% the last day it would be $40+ tax.  Worth it?  Tomorrow will be the last chance I will have to check any stores, better make it count.

Also, I'm guessing all the remaining clearance would be shipped out for salvage following the sale.

If you're going to use it that's a very good price for a PSP 3000. Even used ones generally run more than that.

Anyone have an extra copy of Wonderful 101 or Nintendoland? Or willing to pick one up?
I'll keep an eye out while traveling tomorrow.

Currently available for trade:

Starfox 64 3DS

Looking for:

Skyrim LE PS3

Lollipop Chainsaw PS3

Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance 3DS

Okamiden DS

Mario Party DS

Actually, I picked one up on clearance last year at Kmart for $25.

If anyone is interested, I can pick it up for you if still available after final drop (assuming final drop happens).

been awhile since i check this  topic should of checked it.   I bet mostly everything i want is long gone this weekend ... will check tomorrow at open

Doesn't mean you're going to find one for less than $40 almost anywhere else right now. ;-P

Grabbed some accessories for my new wii u for cheap and also grabbed Metroid Other M for $6. Wish I could have found Wonderful 101 but I was late to the party. Debating if Ninja Gaiden 3 Razers Edge is worth $9 on the wii u

Got denied on the price adjustment again at another store. They said the system is giving a "Item is out of window" error for returns/adjustments, and that electronics only have a 30 day return/adjustment period.

Shucks.

Not sure if you talking about a game or something else, but games specifically have a 90 day return window.

Thats good if u wanted one. U can play nes, snes, ps1, etc.

I got one at Sears long ago for $42 when it was clearance out. I still havent use it because my PSP 1000 still works great.

Copped x3 left 4 dead 2 for the fam, 101 for me, family game party 4 ps3, sleeping dogs, and ZoE. $6, $6, $6, $9, $4.5, and $6 respectively in price.

Yea, even that link with the percentages was removed from the site. Weird.. Guess I'll get my final price adjustments in.
not removed here it is http://m.toysrus.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=33322336. And I doubt the sale ending the 27th considering I was in there this morning and the manager I always talk to said more stuff for the sale was coming soon. The last time this sale happened in 2005 it lasted til late June. And also I think prim44 or whatever his name is in this thread also mentioned the sale still had some time left. And he been right every other time he said something since he actually works there so I will trust him first over hearsay instead of panicking
