YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Wondering if I should check this out today since I've got time to kill but I've already got a mountainous backlog that will probably collapse, fall on me and kill me someday.
 
They were advertising it ending in the Emeryville store. I'd go back and take photos, but I live in Sacramento, and that's way too far to drive to appease skeptical strangers on a deals website. I do find it interesting that they took the clearance blast info off of the website, but it is still currently on the app.

Hopefully it isn't over on the 27th, but if it is. I'm glad to have had time to warn people. So that they could go in and get a few more deals. (Sorry for double posting, my phone posted my first post twice)

That's an awesome deal for a psp. PSPs aren't even carried at a lot of stores anymore, and you can't even get a core system for msrp ($99) on amazon now.

Because physical media will always trump digital downloads in my book. A physical game will be playable forever, 20 years from now I could drop it into a 360 and play it just fine. Where as a digital game will only last as long as my console stays alive or Xbox live carries the game. When deciding what game to play I can take a look at my shelf and see my glorious collection, I don't have to fire up one of my dozen game systems and browse through menus to see my games. And if I ever decide to trade, loan, or sell a game all I have to do is pull it from my shelf.

I think you keep games for gold forever. I get what you're saying. I think free vs. cost plays into it sometimes, but I guess for $6 it doesn't really matter.

The original 3DS version isn't quite as good as the console versions but I really liked it. More of a 3D platformer than a Diablo-lite but I still liked it as a fan of Skylanders. Giants 3DS wasn't particularly good though.

I kind of want to go pick it up again now since I traded mine into Amazon some time ago.

 
I'm hoping that it goes longer than the 27th. I might just pick up a super cheap HDTV if it ends up being around 20 bucks. The store in Sacramento has a whole bunch of brand new off brand HDTVs with green clearance stickers on them. Might be worth it to use as a computer monitor, or as cheap birthday gifts to people that don't mind crappy TVs.
 
Some stores will have limited hours though. (My stupid phone keeps double posting)

I regret not picking up Hot Shots, especially at $6, and Resistance: Burning Skies for a few dollars more.

I probably dug through the clearance cart and rack than was socially acceptable and only walked away with Hot Shots Golf. But for $6? I'm happy.

Found the last two Epic Mickey 2 Controllers (clicker & paintbrush), & a copy of Spirit Camera placed in with the pre-owned games all for $16.26. :D

Was ecstatic to find those two nunchuks, been stalking ebay for them forever.

I went to 3 different stores today across several miles and all I was able to find was X360 Dead Space 3 for $6.  If anyone has a DS Okamiden, Mario Party, Alien Infestation or 3DS Kid Icarus, and Kingdom Hearts at their store let me know.

 
Add me to the chorus: If anybody encounters a Wonderful 101, Okamiden, or Nintendoland and would like to trade for Wii games, Gamecube games, Xbox 360 games, or cash-money, let me know!

 
also looking for Okamiden, as well as as AC: Liberation for vita and Gunblade NYC/LA Machine Guns for the Wii.  Heard mentions in this thread that people found those on clearance as well.  Have another Kid Icarus for grabs for anyone who can trade me what's mentioned for it.

At least the good news from some of you sounds like the clearance isn't ending today at some stores. I wonder what the heck is going on. It seems so ymmv, that maybe the clearance duration is up to the discretion of each district manager or store manager? I know at Best Buy manager's can make their own decisions about clearancing stuff at their store.

everything is nationwide & still going on for awhile and only that one single person said it was ending. That why I told everyone not to panic that it was just hearsay that one single person said. Even Prim44 who works there and been keep everyone updated on this thread even said it was going to last awhile. out of curiosity I called that specific store that was cited as going 70% on everything and they told me the percentages were the same they have been the last few days and was talking to me like I was crazy and had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about the 70% or about the sale ending soon.

lol, nice. Thank you. I was going to try to hit up an out of the way store today, but I guess there's no hurry. I'd hate to waste the gas money when I assume most of the good stuff has been picked over by now.

Dead Rising 2 (360) - Scanned for 8 

I also picked up a couple of the Angry Birds speaker/clock, labeled at 49.99 and 44.99 but rang up weird prices 14.01 and 14.62.

 
Well I lucked out and the woman at customer service price matched Wonderful 101 for the clearance price and is having a copy shipped to me. Don't even have to bother with a return/rebuy now.

With that I am still looking for a copy of Nintendoland if anyone has an extra, that's not even listed on the website.

Someone mentioned a sonic generations statue. I'm going to guess it was the bigger 10 inch one. That one is on clearance at my toys r us at least (didn't check the price though).
 
If anyone has any extra Wonderful 101 to trade please send me a pm. Perhaps karma will pay off after all the helping I did during the Toys R Us pc clearance when they had Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, and Skyrim for $10 years ago
