YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

Go to customer service.

Ask to do a return / rebuy / price adjustment.

They will either agree or tell you no.

If they agree, give them your items and receipt.

Well looks like el Hoardo got all the Ghosts, no biggie. I picked up ZombiU, Sniper EliteV2, and the Italian job for a dollar because why not.
 
I was also told in store the sale was extended 1 additional week till the 10th (or 9th...whichever is next Saturday.)

Either the girl didn't know or she wouldn't tell me if and when the change to 95% would happen.

Hmm, if they've extended the sale then it stands to reason that they're pushing back the drop to 95% until next weekend. It's only been 90% on green for two days. Guess someone will have to test the waters tomorrow?

Well since I was actually there in the store, and not some wise ass on the Internet,
I was able to see that he cleaned out all of the copies of Black Flag that the store had, as well as had a bunch of other cheap games, and was running around the store looking for more cheap crap.
While I left as many copies of Ghosts as I bought..
Which was why I thought the situation was funny, and decided to post it.

Man, I get a kick out of these Internet jackasses, who will post any damn thing on a forum, but wouldn't say shit if we were standing next to each other.
 
Had to Drop some Tables off My Uncles 60th Bash and stopped in at a TRU that time seems to have forgotten on the Way home... Cha-Ching ! Was expecting rubbish but these and all the mega blocks and kids toys ( Mike the Night , Tickety Tock , Dora and Scooby Doo )  was a Complete Surprise :)

Good catch on Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, I scanned a few days ago and it came up still as full price at my place.
 
Think it was about 3 after reward points and gift cards was cheaper than that :) might have been 2 before all that , most expensive game was zombi u and sniper at 6 before all that action
 
I checked Tustin toysrus in the OC last night and didn't find anything interesting. Barely any wiiu games and definitely no wiimotes. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

I will say this even though most of the games had the green stickers including Naruto Wilfred Brimley had to hit a button because they all rang up at original prices at first. His colorful language was a riot ...Dag nab it ! Blasted devil machine ! Ha I laughed all over again :)
 
So tomorrow is the last day huh? There's a shelf full of the Disney infinity figure cases ringing up at $1.50 but they're not even clearance tagged. I dunno if I should just nab them now or wait one more day and risk an employee snatching them for themselves.

That happened here today. The cases weren't out last night. I saw them this morning, walked to the back of the store for something. Came back and saw an employee with a cart full of them checking out. She took every single one. Is there even money to be made on those?
 
Upland, CA is cleaned out. About 20 copies of some Jonas Brothers DS game, an Eyepet game, and another Move game I forgot are about all that's left. I definitely waited too long between drops, oh well.

Sky Ray, as the most well-traveled SoCal TRU hunter, do you recall seeing extras of any of these at any stores recently? I have very little hope, but just figured I'd ask:

No, but I'd like a few for myself and I could probably then to use as trades for power discs in the future.
 
Anywho, only one other store in the area, and all I saw there on Saturday that I would want to sell or trade or give away is ZombiU and both Call of Duty Wii U titles...but I would imagine they've likely been snapped up by now. I might drop in on my lunch break anyway to see.
 
I have too much TRU store credit and need to get me some BBY credit instead.  Any good ones to get to trade in to BBY that I should try and pick up?  Not looking to make money on them, I'd be just as happy with an even exchange in value...

 
I bought 3 packs today. If it does go to 95% tomorrow, I'll try to adjust them. There was a whole shelf of them not marked.

There were a few games, but nothing worth buying or flipping.

Was happy to grab those Star Trek Kreo kits.

The only restock I ever found was one store that did it in the middle. I had been there many times and they had nothing, then went in one day and they had Shao Kahn's temple, Assassins Creed gliders and a Claptrap. They had none of those before.

The TRU in Dedham, MA was mostly picked clean in the gaming section, though they had plenty of copies of Project Runway (Wii) if you're into that sort of thing. I picked up what appeared to be the last Wii U copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts because, hey, I'll buy that for $6.
 
I picked up the last copy of Ghosts from the Peabody TRU this afternoon. Will check the Woburn location tomorrow.

I managed to snag a Graco carseat base for $5. There's no leveling indicator, but for $5, I can live with it. Hopefully they can do a price adjustment with just the receipt because I got a few biggish items and it'd be a huge pain to haul back to the store. :rofl:

Unfortunately my ToysRUs didn't have clearance on games that I wanted that i saw other people got on clearance like ICO, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, etc.

I saw a lot of COD Ghosts, but other than that, nothing too major.

I'm happy I got a AC4: Black Flag for Wii U though. :)

All of the PS3 "collection" titles were part of the clearance at first but they went back to normal pricing a while ago, for some reason.

Wow, just, wow. I went to my closest TRU this past weekend, the only clearance games were PS2 games (some of them preowned), and Crosswords Plus for 3DS for $2.25 (which I bought. I hope it isn't the same puzzles as the DS game, cause I did most of those already, though it was long ago).
 
I was hoping there would be something left at the TRU in Springfield, MO.

Went in and they had a total of one bin with any colored tags and the only game they had in the bin was MLB 12 for the Vita.

All I wanted was a couple Ghost (Wii U) or lucky and find Scribblenauts...

Oh well...
