YMMV ToysRUS "Green" Clearance is up to 70% off!

I picked up Sin and Punishment for the Wii ($5) and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition ($12).
The had a variety of other games, I picked these up in Leominster MA.

The worker said the prices will steadily decrease, but he is not sure when the next drop will be.

They had an assortment of other games on ALL consoles.
Some hidden gems.

Just look for the games with a Lime Green tag on them. They all say "Was $##.##" but don't give the real price until you check them either at a register or kiosk.

As a heads up if you notice that the games we have talked about on this thread numerous times are now marked pre-owned ( but look suspiciously new) don't be surprised. I noticed today when shopping that they are taking some games out of the case and marking them used at a higher price point than clearance. Some even have been marked with those orange final sale sticker and they only honor that price........... Unless you happen to remove said stickers if you have access to the items and BAM you found a clearance price game. That's pretty shady on their part, good for business but sad to those of us who pay attention to there practices. Also the Xbox version of those Fusion controllers are 7.99 as well, picked up two today and left two that a cashier and fellow CAG fought over the CAG won though :).

If games are marked down with the orange sticker, you can ask them to take it off markdown. It only takes a minute to do if you find someone competent.

As far as the used games, these games are supplied by a third party vendor. The vendor decides the initial price point the used games sell at.

So AC IV Black Flag for Wii U is really part of this? At the store I went to tonight they had CoD Ghosts out in the clearance bin with a bunch of Jonas DS games (50 cents - I bought a few just for the cases ;)). But they had 8-10 AC IV in the case marked $59.99. I'm heading to a different store tomorrow and if they are in the case there I'll definitely have one checked.

For the kids I got a couple packs of things called "Orbeez" or something that have little figures and things you put in water to make them grow. They were definitely worth 30 cents of entertainment.

Oh, I also got a Skylanders Giants Portal Owners pack for 3DS for $5. I was hesitant even at that price since I'm not sure if my kids will want to play it, but I figured why not. They had several of them. They also had a ton of the Skylanders portal "skirt" things (that go around the portal - $3 down from $30). I'll see if those are there tomorrow and get one for $1.50 if so. Thing is, I'll be at a different store tomorrow so who knows what they will have there.

And I got a Wii U gamepad charging cradle for 60 cents. And I got a One Direction doll for my daughter as a gag gift. It was totally worth it for $1.50. I thought about getting a Justin Bieber puzzle for 70 cents but passed...

That actually was on a table and not with the movies. Somehow I missed it on my first pass through the tables of clearance. I didn't pick it up though since I already have Top Gun blu and the movie cash is long expired.

I went back several pages to see what else has been included in the sale and found this. I know for a fact I saw this tonight. It was in one of the standalone game cases where they usually have budget titles. It was in one of the plastic security cases and I almost scanned it just to see but the plastic case obscures part of the UPC. Is this really part of the clearance also? It seems this store failed to put out a lot of stuff. For sure I saw AC IV, Crosswords Plus 3DS, and Epic Mickey 2 360 and Wii (all in the case without clearance tags). I may have to go back to that same store as well tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure it's ringing up clearance. I'm trying to find a sealed copy, so if they have any extra and it is indeed ringing up clearance, I'd definitely like to give you money to buy me one.

Regular clearance. Unless it has one of the corresponding colored tags, it doesn't qualify. My TRU had a TON of white tag clearance stuff, and I checked a few just in case, but no, rang up the tagged price.

The 3 per person is accurate to stay within your GCU 3 per year max AND get the extra 10%... correct me if I'm wrong though, but I think you could go back again, or go to a different store and do more...you just have to make sure you DON'T add your GCU information and risk getting locked / banned.
(This is where I can't say with 100% certainty, but even if / when they would ask for your license, it does not automatically add GCU unless you let them scan your card / give them your phone number. Not saying this is 100% correct...just sharing what my understanding is in regards to processing trade-ins at BB.)

It depends on what it is I think. The copy of Ghosts I picked up had a white tag, but I knew it was on clearance and it rang up as such.

The only Infinity item part of this sale that I'm aware of is the 3-pack figure display cases. Originally $15.

The 3-per-person is not based on your GCU, unfortunately (only purchase limits are driven by that). If you live somewhere that takes ID, that is the governing identifier. Their in-store trading FAQ can be found here. Item 12 covers limits.

I guess if your Best Buy doesn't take any identifying information beyond what you tell them verbally, you're good to go, Mr. Doe.

No its the opposite. You can trade in more than 3 copies using the same gct account. They track you by your drivers license and they will ban your drivers license, not gct.
 
Going to try and rebuy my copies of Ace Combat Assault Horizon today...I hope the manager there isn't too P.O.-ed at me; I didn't take their "great credit card" offer yesterday.

 
That reminds me, I saw to Mum-Ra figures for $2 each yesterday, but I couldn't quite pull the trigger. The again, I did buy 2 darth maul usb drives...lolz.

I'm headed to another TRU later. Hopefully I can score a USS Vengeance Kreo kit. Worse comes to worse, I'll head over to BBY and grab KZ for the PS4.

yea some stores JUMPED the gun the 95% starts saturday. Its only 90% in the system. if your store has signs up for 95% they have to enter them by hand.

90% still happening. To get 95% off you need a manager override, it is a pain in the ass. This manager said I was the only person he was going to adjust the prices for. Tru should of updated their systems.

you know what's messed up? I went to a Toys R Us with a stack of COD Ghosts unmarked.. A guy went up to the cash register on the side and asked how much is it? Guy scanned it and said 59.99 but I see on the screen it said $6.00. What gives? :p

Just got back from my store.  95% signage was up, but not registering in the system. Scanners are now showing an end date of 8/10, so we'll have to wait and see when the 95% actually starts showing up at checkout.
