This guy (Richard Hatch) has to be in the lead for 2005 Dumbass of the Year. It's one thing to evade the IRS, but to win the first Survivor and have your picture taken with the $1 million check, and then not report the earnings to the IRS is another. What did he think? He would get away with it?

The thing is, the IRS doesn't just "Out" People. I'm sure they've approached him for the money, and he's refused to give it. Probably wasted it all. It's been three years since he won, right?

You must be a kid, because everyone who files there taxes knows that this is considered income, be it a gift or not
Also, I think he did work for it, he was stuck on an island with no civilization for a long ass time.
