And when Kerry wins, how long do you think PAD will stay away from the boards?
Best statement of the entire thread.

Notice how helava and dennis_t haven't shown up since Monday? They must have received the Omaha Steak boxes of crow I sent and are feasting. I'll post helava's response to this thread for him.....

You didnt really mail out razor blades did you?

Well, I wouldn't say I exactly "failed" ... I guessed all of them right except for Ohio. You know, I also said though that relying on young and new voters wasn't a safe strategy for Kerry- so there!

I am happy Bush won though. I'll admit I didn't have full confidence in him to pull it off but I guess I slightly underestimated his campaign strategy.

I will in fact mail out razor blades to any liberal that swears to use them.

Sean Hannity is taking up collections to fly people willing to renounce their citizenship anywhere in the world first class complete with caviar and champagne.

I'm willing to bet you no one takes him up on that offer.

Oh.... helava?

Bush: Largest popular vote evar.
Senate: Increase of 4 seats.
House: Increase of 4 seats, 3 still being contested.

Republican Victory Tour 2004: Hope Is Indeed on the Way!

Learn it, love it, live it.

That is a very enticing offer, but will he help make a down payment on my new house?

If so I could be ready to leave in a week.

Btw, if you send me that razor blade I promise to use it to slit you throat like a pig.

PAD - Bush also happened to get more votes against him than any sitting president in history. The margin between Kerry and Bush was also one of the smallest for any sitting President in a good long while. The total vote count isn't really a good indicator, and if you're implying that he has a mandate, somehow, with 51% of the vote, then you've truly got your head up your ass.

What noone's saying, if you look at the blue and red map, it looks like the civil war.

If that were true we'd all have slaves (or be slaves) today. Fortunately it's not.

If you break it down by counties, there is even more red.

huh? Do you even know what the civil war was really about? I recommend any "American History 101" textbook, immediately.

Yup it's a 52-48 split. The cities and centers of knowledge are blue, the more isolated rural areas are red.

Oh come on that's just not fair, who could honestly think Nader is gonna win. I should pass just cause I voted for Bush.

Classy. Don't worry though - I'm sure it won't be the last time Hannity attempts to ship out the liberals, gays, and religious minorities that are marginalized in this "brave" new society.

You know, there was another man who was willing to do anything to get liberals, gays, and religious minorities out of his country. That man's name was Hitler.

Hey, what about me? I know I didn't pick a winner, but that was because I felt it was impossible to tell who would take Ohio. I did have that 100% correct.

Yes, we all know who failed the test. America did. America elected a president who has proven he cannot run a country. America did not want to look into the facts of Bush's presidency or his lies throught the campaign. I am deeply ashamed of an America that was too lazy to look behind the sound bites and get the facts for themselves, along with a lazy media that refused to inform the public about current events.

I like your avatar. It's kinda like what I think USA is about to go through.

From dehumanization to arms production,
For the benefit of the nation or its destruction
Power, power, the law of the land,
Those living for death will die by their own hand,
Life's no ordeal if you come to terms,
Reject the system dictating the norms
It's your choice,
Peace or annihilation

In terms of the breakdown of the vote vs. civil war, and the way the country looks - how much geographical area was red or blue really isn't a proper measure. Much of the space in the midwest is really sparsely populated, when compared to say, New York, San Francisco, Houston, or LA. The point being, the actual land mass that was "red" is such a ridiculously poor metric by which to judge Bush's support, it's stupid.

If you break the map down by country, and not into distinctly red or blue, you get the *real* measure of America. Purple.

Good point, although I get the feeling that the blue north was voting FOR Kerry, and the blue south was voting AGAINST Bush. What else explains the majority position of each state?

Sadly, I don't forsee this changing anytime in the near future.

Thanks. My avatar is Ghost Rider aka Zarathos. I know it's really hard to read, but it does say Ghost Rider in the corner. I loved the orignal Ghost Rider comic and I have most of the ones with Johnny Blaze. I forget where I got the pic from though.
