My friend connor had a good take on it

"The first time I saw that one guy saying "It's crew against crew," I was like oh cool... a gang movie! But then all of a sudden they burst out with... *starts making wild arm motions in the air*"
 
It is distrubing to think that people actually made this movie and even more distrubing to know that there are people out there who will actually see it and even worse - like it!

I hate these hip hop glorification movies!
 
Don't forget the number 2, Cheapy.

You got 2 respect it, and so on.

It wouldn't be a mainstream crap-ass black urban culture / white rice boy movie unless you put that stupid fucking number in there.

I have no real problem with people seeing this movie.... or even liking this movie.... however with people paying for to see and like this movie...That I take offense at :)

If I didn't have to work this weekend I would have been in front of the theater waiting for single guys to go in to watch this piece of trash and punched them right in the face.

I can see if you're young and a chick wants to drag you to see this movie. I can fully understand that.

But

If it's you and some dudes sittin' around thinkin' "Hey, let's go check out the new flick with those cats dancin and shit. That looks tight" You deserve to have a chipped tooth. Bottom line.

Guy: Me and the fellas went to see 'You Got Served' this weekend, this crazy blonde white dude was out in front of the theater, checkin' peoples tickets and bustin' people in the grill if they were going to see 'You got Served' without a girl.

Friend: He was right to do it.

That's true, but I think this emasculate piece of shit is in the same style of a sappy romance. Some bitches dig this shit, sure,stupid teeny bitches but that might be all some of these young gamer dudes can get.

I can't fault 'em. When you're 16, a girl is a girl and if she lets you do things to her naughty bits, all more the better.

So long as you are 16 or younger as well. Otherwise it's just plain creepy as well as criminal.
 
The preview had me on the floor laughing. Lil Kim telling teenie-boppers B2K to "keep it grimy, straight street" was just too much. The sad thing is this was the number one film, so we can expect more of this crap.

I had to bring this old topic back up in honor of todays South Park Episode.

Man it had me laughing as soon as I started seeing them dance. I knew exactly what was gonna happen.

the imdb.com message board has taught me to be very cautious if i ever buy a bootleg "you got served" dvd off of ebay:

I had this friend who absolutely LOVED this movie......one day he found a bootleg copy of this thing on eBay. He just couldn't believe that there was a copy available two weeks before its official release, so he stole his mom's credit card and made a $7000 bid so that no one would outbid him. Well, when it finally came a few days later, he tore open the package and pulled out the DVD......This made him so excited that he shoved the DVD case up his dog's ass.

LOL yeah, the first episode and this weeks episode have been the best this season.

I just thought this thread needed a little revival because of the South Park episode, instead of making a whole new thread. Seem a lot of people don't read everything, so maybe I should have just made a new thread, oh well.

Medium, I was cracking up with that soemthing in my front pocket. Poor Butters lol
 
Just wait...one of these days, "You Got Served" (the movie) will be one of those cable TV staples. It seems like a lot of stations show crappy movies for the hell of it (VH1 has been airing "Glitter"), and this is definitely a crappy movie.

When did they stop killing Kenny off? What season that is? B/c I just got back into watching South Park, whereas I used to catch episodes when there was nothing else on tv.
 
Well, I don't doubt it... Breakin' and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo still see airplay at odd hours on the cable stations.... I wouldn't be surprised to see "You got Served" get the same treatment.

I'm glad they did that... they started to run out of clever ways to keep killing Kenny off, so now they only seem to do that if they come up with a really cool/funny way of killing Kenny off.
