People have saved show before through dvd and bluray sales, lets see if we can do it one more time even if its only for one more season of this amazing show. If you haven't seen it give it a go. Everyone will tell you, you'll love it.
I personally think it starts out a little rocky but i think it pulls through at the end of the day its why I bought the series myself and now I love it.

EDIT
Fringe Renewed for Fifth and Final Season!:bouncy:

I have never watched the show but it does seem something I would enjoy. Even if I hate the show I can trade it/sell it on amazon and get my money back.

Great Deals op picking up Season 2 and 3.

I also noticed they have Pushing Daisies season 1 and 2 on blu for $10 each.
This is another great series I can recommend.

Thanks OP. I had been waiting for these to drop below $20 and decided since seasons 1 and 2 were $19 I would let season 3 slide at $21. After taxes, the total came out to $63.21 shipped, or $21.07 a season, which is pretty amazing. Thank you!

I'll second the recommendation on Pushing Daisies. Great show, just unfortunate that it got cut short.

Pretty tempted on the Fringe blus, but ever since I found Breaking Bad S1-3 on blu at my pawnshop for 10 bucks each, I'm hesitant to buy anything too soon.

I can truly say that I would not miss this show in the least, in its current form, if it were canceled. The show would be ok if it werent for that Dawson's Creek wanna-be action star Josh Jackson. He totally and completely kills the show for me. I just cant take it seriously enough to get any sort of enjoyment out of it. Maybe if they were to do a bit of re-casting I might be interested...but with the current cast this show is almost unbearable for me to watch. I really want to like it too...sucks. :whistle2:/

I think it's just your image of Josh jackson that kills it. I never watched Dawsons creek so it was fresh for me and he works VERY well with the cast

i don't think really anyone watched dawson's creek at all. Maybe they watched it the first season (When it was decent) or so but that's it. Anyways I quit watching Fringe because it kept going nowhere. It's a good show and I do like just about everything about it, but when their doing the same stuff over and over there's little point to watch it.

I like the show and never watched Dawson's Creek. I can't stop thinking the only way to save the universe is with the help of the flying v.

I've watched every episode, but have the same feeling. It was cool when
they introduced the alternate universe
. But since then, it hasn't really progressed.

I'm so glad it was renewed. I would of liked 22 episodes, but the fact that we are even getting anymore episodes is just fantastic. Last weeks episode was insane. I hope we see more Henry Ian Cusak.

Fringe being renewed just made my day - it's one of the best shows on TV, IMO. Friday nights are always Fringe nights at my house. The show keeps getting better and better!

watched like first 5 episodes and all I got from it was that it tried to be like LOST and X Files and failed terribly.

The characters are poorly developed and the half-assed actors don't make up for it, the plot is filled with holes, and the actual sci-fi is made me feel like a 12 year old wrote the show.

I honestly felt the same way, but it does get better when they actually introduce a single enemy, and then it escalates from there. There are some real worthwhile episodes from Season 2 and 3. I don't care so much about the characters from the other universe, but it's been consistently good. I haven't watched any Season 4, though, and I'm hoping it changes some things.

Yay, I'm so happy Fringe is renewed. I have the first couple seasons on DVD from BBV, but I'll hold out until there is a complete super duper collectors edition blu-ray complete series boxset like LOST.

This has been my biggest issue with this season.

The WB Store is great. I ordered all 3 seasons, but season 2 had a broken case on the inside. Not only are they replacing it, but I don't even have to send back the one with the broken case.

I actually excited since they announced next would be its last and final season. I only watch it out of habit and as soon as I see a really good episode then the next week they remind me why I don't care for the show with another filler episode with about 5 minutes at the end that ties into the full story.
I really thought it would be one of those shows that got cancelled on a cliff hanger.

They are having sales on other tv shows as well, Supernatural and Smallville ($20.99). I know this is off topic from Fringe, which is a great show. The deals from Supernatural aren't as good as the Best Buy deals, but it isn't bad
