I got V2 for free from Best Buy the day it was released. Free is the best price! :)

Actually, I should say the best price is when they pay you to take a free copy of a DVD, which BB did for 24 S6.

As for YIJ, here's how it went down. I had to go check out at Geek Squad because they needed more cashiers due to the number of waiting customers. I was the first one to check out there and I don't think the guy had any experience doing this. I asked him to price match Balls of Fury and he said he would have to call to make sure the store had it in stock. He kept me waiting for a long ass time while he made the call and he said it was policy to call the store before every PM, but I said whenever I get a PM done at a regular cashier, they never call the store to check. After he finds out that of course they had it in stock, I have to wait even longer for his manager to authorize it. I complained that this was the longest time I've ever had to wait for a simple price match, and if I had been able to get checked out at one of the regular cashiers, it wouldn't have been like this. After leaving the store, I find out that guy didn't even ring up 2 of the DVDs, the Young Indiana Jones V2 and the new Halloween. If it hadn't been for the terrible shopping experience this time and all the countless other times at this store, and the fact that Geek Squad has ripped me off before, I might have felt bad.

Yeah so I ended up with $100 worth of free DVDs. Sorry if this is a long explanation, I posted this earlier in the Blade Runner thread, I just copied and pasted. That's fcking Best Buy for ya! Gotta love to hate em!

Oh yeah, there are some codes for Fye.com that might work with this. It says they are good for $5 off $6+, I don't know, feel free to try it out.

If you don't mind ebay, you might wanna check there. I just bought mine for $56 shipped. I hate FYE/Suncoast rebates. Never received my ps2 $30 rebate and a few more for some dvds.

Also, if you have a Costco membership, I believe I saw Vol 1 for around $55 - $60 range.

I still can't understand why these sets are so damn expensive. Why the hell is Lucas extorting $100 is beyond me at this point with DVDs and how cheap they are. Put it at $60 max MSRP and then it could sell at $40-50. Lucas is rolling in the dough anyway from Star Wars and people's expectations of Indy 4.

My thoughts exactly, this isn't 1999 anymore.

I heard good stuff about this show and that George went "all out" on the extras but still, I won't be picking this up until its clearenced out because no one bought it.
