But its not hard to predict, they just had one a few weeks ago, so maybe the next one will be around St. Patty's day. But they had one last year on Columbus day and usually once during the holiday season. If you teach your kids to wash their hands and respect the property in the house damage to the collection will not be a problem. A lot of things like N64 cartridges for example are pretty indestructable, so there are lots of things they could use without causing damage. Of course you could put your super rare, perfect condition or valuable stuff out of their reach, they don't necessarily have to play those games. Also the parent could put the disc in the system and take it out whenever possible. Most of my stuff is not in perfect condition, its in cleaned-up yard sale condition, so I don't think kids playing with it would be a problem. I let my cousins play with it during the holidays and its not a problem at all, of course they are old enough to understand not to break the property of others.
