Finished putting together the new Sauder shelf, so now I has more space again.

It's already full of clothes and boxes.

In the second picture though you can see the closet has indeed been blocked off in one of the rooms.

Dude your layout and collection is awesome! Man that Anime Wall
Your CE section needs some work... if you can't see them, then they're not part of your collection.
Or better play them.
if you can't see them, then they're not part of your collection.
If that's true, then my collection doesn't exist.
why dont you use the closet?
'Cause I'm in his closet waiting for him to fall asleep so I can nab that delicious DS collection ;)

So, I needed a new desk since my old one simply too cramped and by sheer chance, my new desk gives me just enough room to ghetto-ily fit in another shelf in my room.

It'll look pretty crappy (or maybe genius) but it's more room and that's all I care about. Pics to follow whenever I get it set up.

I just ordered four Sauder shelves from Walmart.com on Friday. I will put them together in the next two weeks and post some pictures after my Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Limited Edition comes in from Amazon. I hope these shelves are as good as some people say they are.
I really need to add a few more shelves to my bookshelf. If I go to Lowes with measurements, will they cut them there?
Yep, they'll do it for free.
It does indeed come in another color, but that one is usually never on sale.

I also think it's a bit smaller, just by a bit.
Ok, thanks for the info. That color is still darker than the ones I currently have so no reason to pay more for it. I just ended up picking up one of the standard shelves that is on sale since most everyone recommends it in the thread. Plus I had a $20 gc saved on my account from a prior purchase that I wanted to use.

Hopefully I'll finally get around to posting some photos of my collection and setup once I get this shelf setup.
They're from two different series... I see O'Sullivans on sale all the time. I'm guessing the materials might be better on the more expensive but can't say for sure.
Since you seem to be the resident storage/shelving expert in this thread anyway you can point towards something closer to this size?

46"-Wide X 62"-High X 16"-Deep

Any points in the right direction would be great.

Thanks,
Anthony H.

Well, you could possibly keep an eye out for this one, but it generally doesn't go on sale at many places, so you might be looking for awhile if you wanted to find a deal.

I'm not really an expert on the topic. You want Squarehard or wiggyx...

But going by the depth, it sounds like you want a bookshelf (or two side by side) and not media shelf.

EDIT* Speak of the devil.

Thanks the 16" is just the maximum room I have because of a heater vent in the floor. I really don't want a bookcase because I want to stay away from double stacking the stuff in there.

I generally recommend that folks build their own. You need just about zero wood-working skill to do so. 1st question, are you able to mount things to your walls? If so, there are TONS of cheap, modular options. You can really build something to your exact needs.

I'd love to post an update, but there's nothing interesting about desk drawers full of games that don't fit on my shelves. As soon as I can figure something out, I'll have new pictures. And who knows, maybe we'll be able to sell our house and get a loan for the new house we want and I'll finally have my own room with all of my nerdy decorations.

To put it in very simple terms, it's basically a form of peehole sex.

I officially second this. Honestly, I think it would be sacrilegious to so anything but leave it as is. Dork sacrilege that is.

The thing is I don't care for Legos nor the particular set. I mean took the display for the case lol. Also it doesn't fit the theme of my room nor do I have space for it. it's looks nice, its bothersome walking pass it at night cause the sensor lights are bright....
