Your gaming: Playing more, playing less, about the same?

CAGiversary!
As I've gotten older, I've seen a natural progression towards me playing games less and less and buying fewer titles a year. I'll still pick up Makai Kingdom this week because I'm a big NIS fan and I love RPG's in general, but lately it just feels like I'm growing tired. Hell, I even sold off my PSP a few weeks ago because I hadn't touched it in weeks. Looking back, I wish I had used that $300 towards a new laptop... The CC sale of 04 was by far the highlight of my 'career' as a gamer, but to look at my collection now to merely 15 total games among 3 systems, it's depressing... where do you rate your gaming right now: about the same, growing stronger, or losing steam?
It's funny.. the collection is growing stronger and stronger, but i'm playing less/losing steam..
I'm pretty much the same way, although I've sold quite a few games in the last few months due to not having any money whatsoever.

This summer, my playing time has gone up quite a bit, mainly because I'll play World of Warcraft with friends and Guildies, so it doesnt seem nearly as wasteful of a time

I'm definately playing a lot less than I used to, mostly due to school and work. I'm trying to get in as much gaming this summer since I'm only working 40 hour weeks, as once college starts up again I'll probably have about five hours a week of time to play games.

I have a hard time following storylines in RPGs now because I have too much time between gaming sessions that I forget what's been going on. =(

Gone down... despite me having more time this summer. I don't think it's because I've grown out of gaming... more that we're to the point where games aren't improving so much that they "wow" me anymore.

I must have video game ADD or something, whenever I try playing something I get bored within 10 minutes of starting it and end up playing something else for 10 minutes. The cycle never stops.

I think I play about the same amount of time but I only play a couple games right now. Halo 2, Elite Force, NFL 2k5, Capcom vs. SNK 2 I play pretty regularly now. Everything else just depends if I am in the mood.

Definitely losing steam; I'm up to the point where I only enjoy playing sports games. I just don't have enough time to get into a long RPG. Last one I finished was FF XIII :X

Well its summer time and I work during the summer, plus I see more shows and party a bit more so ive slacked off on the gaming and purchasing.

I rarely play anymore, but that's because there's nothing out. Once Madden comes though, I'll start playing more. But I have seen my playing time and the number of games I buy drop as I have gotten older.

It's nice to know someone else out there on CAG plays CvS2.

I usualy play Smash Bros Melee or Capcom vs Snk 2 or whatever anyone else wants to play, when I buy games for myself I usualy play a few hours into them then get bored or distracted and forget about them and if i'm lucky i'll come back to them and beat them. I find myself increasingly playing more and more games that dont have any commitment like Fps games online.

I have all the free time in the world, yet i hardly play video games as much as when i was in school. I only play games worth my time, im saving up or the xbox360 when i will play non-stop

Losing steam, between work, school and my girlfriend, I just don't have as much time as I did about a year ago. Now I'm lucky if I can spend 5 hours total a week playing games.

I've played a few games lately (mostly Warhammer Dawn of War and Katamari Damacy), but I spend a lot more time watching movies and doing other stuff.

My game playing/buying is about the same as it's been since I got out of high school. I've had a little less time than I use to because of a tougher schedule of classes. I'll have even fewer chances to play in a couple weeks when I start school again, since I transferred and will be attempting to get into vet school.

I think I play about the same amount of games as before. But since I discovered CAG, I've bought more games at cheaper price per game. Before I have few games that I played for a lot. Now with more games, I play a lot of different games but each game I play for fewer hours.

I didn't really get into gaming until high school (when I could actually buy games).
Recently I hardly ever play anymore. I tried out Alien Hominid yesterday and followed it up with a few minutes of Ikaruga. I'd say in the last month I've played games for about an hour total.

Excluding, of course, the CAG arcade.

I almost never buy games anymore, and when I do, it's usually somethingn that I'll play for quite a while with nothing else to play.

I've been playing a lot less lately. Mostly because I simply don't have the time. I work 45 hours a week, and my spare time is usually spent with friends or girlfriend, or playing poker. Most days after work I just want to relax and watch a movie, not get worked up in a video game.

Of course, since I don't work at EB anymore, I'm sure that's helped as well. I'm also buying less! :)

Same, but I'm getting back to playing more.

Though I now have more disposable income and a greater number of systems, I'm playing a lot less. 'Course, I've got a six month old, so I suppose that accounts for it!
