Your suggestions on EB Rebates.

From last summer until this Dec, my local EB would sent out for any rebates in store. If you purchased a game, they would send the rebate slip out for you.

Now, the problem, EB's rebate department is not honoring those rebates, and the managers that did that have now been fired.

I've purchased:
Rainbow Six , PS2, with a $20 rebate
Burnout 3, Xbox , $10
Neo Contra, $20
Hitman Contracts, $20
Bards Tales, Xbox, $20
and trade in 5, get $25

for a total of $115 dollars. My local Eb manager says she underestands my postion, and is talking to the DM, but thinks there will be nothing they can do. That's at least two games, what should I do?

Wow, I didn't realize EB's rebate issues were this serious. Tell the DM that you'll go to the Better Business Bureau if you don't get satisfaction. It's your money, and EB effectively promised to return it to you in the form of a rebate.

That sucks. Yeah, I would definately talk to their DM and raise a bit of hell if they don't honor it.

BTW, that would ahve been some nice money to use during the B2G1 free sale on used games.

EB (go up the chain as high as you can until you get a "yes" or a "no"), BBB, then small claims court.

I don't understand. Were the rebate forms filled out incorrectly? How did the rebate department know they were sent in by the store and not by you? They didn't put down the store's info instead of yours, did they?

Well, I heard from one manager, that there were stacks of rebates sitting in the back. So maybe they never went out, or went out after the deadlines.

For the Burnout 3, I know I'm screwed; the manager had me fill out a differnt rebate form; it was for another game. He assured me; it would be ok.

I have receipt copies for all but the first two.
