I liked all the alien movies, just seeing those nasty devilish creatures on the big screen is enough for me, after playing the games/reading the comics throughout my life I just love them regardless of how bad the flicks are, point in case I enjoyed AVP.

Dont except to laugh your ass off, its not that type of movie. Oddly enough I saw it back when I was into artsy flicks like Kids, American Beauty, Dead Poet Society, basically movies that try and have important meanings underneath them. Slacker is comical at some times but its not meant to be a comedy, Kevin liked it so much because it showed him basically that he could make a movie as well, made it seem possible. Regardless I like the flick.

I love the Aliens. Officially my favourite character, followed by Ash. I never saw AvP, bu tI've heard both that it's very good, and that it sucks BFFD.

Anyway, my beef with Alien 3 was that I felt they rushed to kill off the characters from Aliens, and that the whole "oh I'm stuck in a claustriphobic area mostly by myself" was done enough in Alien.
you question him but you dont question tiphireth's ace ventura?
Meh.. I've liked that film since I was a little kid, it's a classic. "Do not pass go! Do not collect $200!"
