How did you choose your username? Just give a simple reason why.

I chose mine because of my initials and Dirk Nowitzki's (and my) jersey number.
 
I used to think of original things but for not SpookyD is for Spooky Donkey, a brief refrence in the Cowboy Bebop movie, but when they dubbed it they made it into somthing else, so I guess its at least obscure...
 
Its a radiohead song...and the number is the two ann. me and my girlfriend have (we broke up once)...no it was june 6th and then the other was nov. 20th...therefor its 620

I used to have this loser for a neighbor and me and my friends would always make fun of him and call him jimbobob and say it in a really bad australian accent (I have NO idea why, but hey it was funny to us, I think we are about 12 or so) so I would always use jimbobob, but then that name started to already taken on a lot of sites so I switched it to another very common first name, dan. jimbodan is hardly ever taken (in fact I've never once seen anyone else use it). So thats how I got my username.
 
Every other screen name on FA one night seemed to be some variant of a star wars name. Darth [Insert Name Here], Jar Jar, Greedo, Boba Fett. So, as a lark, to kinda make fun of that, I chose good ol' squidface himself and entered a srever and started yelling "It's a trap" every time I fragged someone.

Well, it turned out i forgot to change my screen name, and I start loggingg into servers, and next thing I know, everyone is like, "Hey, it's Admiral Ackbar." and "It's a trap."

Thus I stuck with it. I get more recognition from the name than my play :p.
 
ZForce - People used to call me "Z" because my last name is Ziemer. The ZForce thing came to me randomly one day a long time ago and it's since been my "online alter ego". The 915 is the date I started dating my future wife. The wedding is in October.
 
I think mine is self explanatory with my icon and all. The only reason there is a 1 in my name is because I made the name YoshiFan and used the name once. I forgot the password and what e-mail address I used to make the username so when I wanted to start reading the forums, I created this name.
 
First inital, first half of last name. Should have picked spomething else though. like my Live name.....duh.
 
Twas back in the Days of everquest... when I played that is... A young necromancer was born... A small gnome with a large err... future... That one known as... Deadmasta Funk, And how the name has evolved to being just DMFunk, Dunno why I still use it, guess it just has that ring to it...
 
mine from the original Pokemon games for gb, which once a long assed time ago I played Pokemon. I just started using the name gamefreak because I thought it described me being a hardcore gamer and all, and I needed a screenname for AIM. Thus it is. 117 from my birthdate. 01/17/88...
 
Oneday on Tribes 1 .. PC game.. . i think a couple of my friends left the server we were in and changed their screen names and came back.. so as a joke, i left the server and came back with the screen name CraCka... at the time i was pretty good at the mod i played, so alot of people remembered me as cracka so i kept it for Tribes and i've used it for other games and this forum
 
for about a year or so I saw Under Siege 2:Dark Territory about 150-200 times(for a while it was the only thing that seemed to come onto cable) with my sister's ex-boyfriend. I have seen the movie at just about every time and every way you can . Just joking around I ended up using CaseyRyback and it stuck. Now I use it all the time for online message boards

I figured If I would have used Travis Dane no one would have understood
 
Long ago when I still had AOL, I decided it was time for a new screenname. It was around...oh 1999 maybe. I was into Riven (the sequel to Myst), so I chose Moiety, which was the society of people that lived in one of the ages. Anyway, it's stuck with me ever since and I use it as all my user names. Of course I dumped AOL shortly after that, when our city got Broadband. I always liked it cuz no one knew what it meant. :)

Shortened version of Psycho Clerk, the name of a e-wrestler I used a loooooong time ago, nearly ten years now. I used to be big into wrestling, and thus was turned onto fantasy wrestling via email and the web.

A friend of mine got into it and created his wrestler based on his job at the time: working for K-Mart. So he made The Cashier. I thought it was a good idea and followed suit. I worked for a video store at the time, so I made the Psycho Clerk. We were the team called Merchants of Chaos. It sounds dopey, but we were usually the comic relief, and it was a lot of fun while it lasted.

I use Psychoclerk/PsyClerk often, because those name are not usually taken. :)

Two words I put together randomly about four years ago. And the Bluetoast comic, that's a cool story...I'll try to put it up when I can find/scan it.
 
doraemon = big blue cat comic character that i used to see all the time when i was a kid.

kerpal = jerky boys character that i used to crack up to.

thought it sounded cool. i use it on Continuum/Subspace if any of you have played that game.

my name on gamefaqs.com is OmniHeartAce, which, looking back on it, is pretty damn uncreative. it's the final limits for Cloud, Squall, and Tidus: Omnislash, Lionheart, and Blitz Ace.
 
The name I used when I first went on the net started with Paradox. Some of my friends in real life started calling me "Dox". Also in games where you can put in a high score and only use 3 letters Dox is perfect. And then I added a King infromt of it when I became my HS class president. I now use it for everything. Every profile on my Xbox and PC is under kingdox.
