Just ran across this link while checking on my preorder of the game.

Amazon has discounted the Premium Edition of Ys: The Oath In Felghana to the low, low price of $29.82 (25% off retail). The game is remake of Ys III & is reported to be the best version of the game yet.
The premium edition includes a CD Soundtrack and a 2011 Desk Calender ;)

Interesting... you should never have to cancel your order to maintain said price, especially if the item was preordered and has not shipped yet. I know that in the case that the price falls after the item has shipped already, Amazon will no longer honor the difference. I would contact amazon's customer support and tell them about the jump back in price. They should honor it without any fuss.

I also pre-ordered this a long time ago for 37.99 and my price was adjusted earlier today. After reading your post I printed a PDF of my invoice just in case the price goes back up.

Also - you may need to click on the actual order number to view your invoice. Sometimes the price is updated there but not on your list of orders.
 
Weird, my price just updated back to the sale price advertised earlier. I'm definitely printing out a copy of my invoice just in case it happens again. Thanks!
 
Just curious. Did amazon ship your LE in a box, a cardboard mailer or a bubble envelope? I'm getting sick of the Seattle distribution center shipping my LE/CE stuff inadequately. I received damaged Castlevania LE, Deathsmiles LE, Sakura Wars, etc. If I were to order a copy of this game, I probably have to order some other stuff in order to have a better chance of having it shipped in a box.

Man that sucks. Did you ever complain to them that your items arrive busted up? I know I would have a major fit. I just want to make sure my Ys oath and seven collectors arrive in great condition...

Wow, that's pretty screwed up. Amazon seems to be a bit wonky these days when it comes to packaging. For instance, I ordered a game and a guide last week and was .47 cents short for free shipping, so I picked up a small box of 12 pens for .87 cents. The next day my game and guide were still "Not yet shipped", but my pens were shipped UPS and arrived the following day in a HUGE box full of air pillows. fucking thing made no sense.:roll:
 
I seriously think it's dependent on the warehouse. Out of what I've gotten in the past year, the only thing that had ANY damage was Agarest War, and that's really the game packaging's fault. They've even upgraded my shipping to 2 day (which comes next day) several times.
 
I live in Minnesota, but have never gotten anything shipped to me in an unsatisfactory condition. In fact when I got my Castlevania: LoS LE it was shrink-wrapped onto a cardboard back and the box it came in had air bags. A little over packaged if you ask me, but hey, no probs so I'm happy.
 
Damnit! I would've jumped on this, but I'm still waiting for my credit from selling my textbook. Its all good though, I'll just use my CoD pre-order bonus of $20 and get it cheap a little later this month. Surely the price will fluctuate.

For that matter, I need to get Ys 7 LE while the getting is still good...
 
missed out on it BUT i should be able to rent it via gamefly tomorrow since i have an open slot.... it looks more of a rental thena purchase for me with my massive backlog..

still have Lunar LE and Ys 7 LE not even open and that is not counting the 5 to 8 DS games i still have sealed or having played yet

slidecage you sound like me. my goal is to own every single american released rpg im almost done with all eras minus nintendo and other systems of that era. i think i own over 100+ ds games of which prolly 50+ are still sealed. i just try and choose the really good ones to play lol.
 
I added mine into an old order late Monday night and I just got notice that it shipped - nice!
 
I got a notice saying I won't have it until next Monday using 2-Day shipping. I guess it's because my order wasn't soon enough so it's in back-order state. I can only hope I get it before the weekend so I can have something to do.
