does anyone know where i can exchange this game without a receipt. i got this game as a gift but i already have it and i am looking into getting metroid prime 2. please help thanks alot

wait until after xmas, and most retail stores are more friendly taking no receipt returns due to xmas gifts etc.

thank you tenzor for the advice. let people burn this subject its true that i got it as a gift and want to exchange it not my fault by any chance.

My wal-mart gives you a wal-mart gift card with your money on it when you return an item without a receipt. I assume this is true for most Wal-Marts, but YMMV..

thanks everyone. what is there to complain about. people who complain about me trying to get rid of this game needs help since i got this game as a gift and i already have it and wanted metroid prime 2. so im trying to swap/exchange the game. so there is really nothing to complain about people

I'm actually quite amazed, normally by this point someone would have entered and said something about this being wrong and your trying to screw over a company and blah blah blah.

walmart changed their return policy on games with no reciept at least they did with the 2 by where i live....or so im uhh ahem told

Did anyone read his post? At all? He wants to exchange for a game that is readily available. Most stores that I've had experience with will let you exchance without a receipt, especially a store that's as infamously lenient as Walmart. The only problem I might see with what you want to do is that Four Swords is a relatively old game, and the price may have dropped, if it's still being sold at Walmart(or another store) at all. If they do sell it at a lower price, you would have to pay the differential, of course.

Everyone's assuming that you want to return the game for a refund without a receipt. Don't do it. I'm not even sure Walmart is down with that anymore.

Most places, if not all, give store credit, so they arent losing money on anything. You have to spend the credit at their store. So basically you are just swapping game for game, etc. Plus, most stores will only give credit at the lowest price your returned game has gone for in a set period of time (month or two). So if you got it as a gift, you should ask to trade it for another, no harm there. As for returning for cash, or buying clearance games and trying to get more credit than you paid for, thats just wrong and set for another story.
